LewFather 0 Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 2.First one came at .50/1.00 on party I think I won a 25 pot or something it was wild. I had KJ of clubs and I turned it. I remember at first glance I just thought I had the nut flush (Ace of club on the flop) upon further review it was my first royal. My second one came today ironically, I was playing a 5+1 30 man over on party. I think we still had like 25 or so players left and I picked up ATh in position with lots of limpers so I limp too I flop came Qh Jh 5d facing a min. bet I decided to pump it up like 250 so if I missed the turn I could see the river for free. Homeboy calls the 250 turn came Tc and it goes check check river comes Kh making my royal. The Villian goes all in for his remaining 760 chips I call it obviously and he goes bust. The first one was with K:diamond: J:diamond: and I hit it on the turn. The second one was with Q:diamond: Q:spade: and I hit it with diamonds again on the river. Didn't get much action on either one. Guest Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 I've had one, online...middle of a $5+$1 SnG @ Pokerstars (4-5 players left), I'm the shortstack (with around $1,700) and get A K , and put in a standard raise 4x the BB, a player to my right with slightly more than me goes all in (I think he had $2,100) and I call (he was pretty loose). His hand is crippled as he shows KQos. The Flop comes Q -4 -J . And before even noticing my flush draw I am pissed because he hit 1 of his 3 outs to beat me. Well, sure as sh!t, the 10 comes on the turn and I literally almost punched the monitor I did 1 of those huge (Tiger Woods style) fist pumps. Crack User 0 Posted September 2, 2005 Share Posted September 2, 2005 haha only have 2 of them ever in my life. one was really funny tho because it was at this gangster type guys house and there were all these thugs there and stuff i knew the guy from him having solde me some rock beforeit was funny because i had caught a natural royle flush vs this one real mean motha and he was all P.O cause he had tons of money in on his quads that he caught on the river when i caught my full houseso he took out a f.cking gun and f.cking held up the whole PARTY!!!!!!hahah, he took all the freakin money and peoples watches and stuff and the best part was after he was gone and it was all silent and stuff i was the one who spoke first and i said real soft THAT....IS....THE....WORST....BAD...BEAT....EVER.omfg i was laughing so hard LMAO i didn't even care about the money i was just glad to be alive hahahah roflGood luck. The best was my first which was at the Cal-Neva casino in Reno back in the mid '80's when I was 25 years old. Playing 7 card stud and got the Royal on the river with 3 of the 5 cards "rolled up." Won a monster pot plus a $100 royal bonus. The other casino win was a $4-$8 game a year ago, put wasn't much but won $450 in royal bonus at the Tulalip here in Seattle.On line, my first was holding a KJ and flopping the AQT of got two people to go all-in and easily won that sit-n-go. Then at a home game i got it with KsQs on the river, which was the Js. I flopped the nut flush with As 4s 10s, the turn was a blank, the river gave me the royal. Donkey boy went all in with a pair of kings and I happily obliged.Last night in the same 30 person SNG, I got sucked out on runner runner straight flushes TWICE. That was cool.
