dscoot 0
what up peeps. so excited, my bro jsut won a freeroll tonight on fulltilt for wsop 10k entry. 1570 people in a freeroll, paying only first with the seat. however, the seat does not include a travel package, which is gonna make it hard on us to make it out there, but we will find a way to pay for our trip and stay from ohio to vegas.just wondering if anyone has any great ideas about how to get there and stay very cheaply.we also will be contacting fulltilt abt any help they may offer us as well.thx

JaysonWeber 0
Well I got lucky w/ my Airfare... it's gonna be pricey, look for northwest airlines.I think the best flights you'll find at going to be Ohio to Minneapolis and then Minneapolis to Las Vegas.Who knows maybe we'll be on the same flight I'm leaving the 4th and coming back on the 16th. The flight was around $500 something alltogether. As for hotel's.. that'll be the most expensive part, try to find something cheap and good luck...
DCWildcat 0
If you fly through Cincinnati and leave out of terminal 2 or terminal 3, concourse b, stop at Wetzel's Pretzels and ask for Phil. I'll get you the hookup.

econ_tim 0
Southwest flies to Vegas, and usually has pretty low fares. Don't know what airpots in Ohio they serve.
Fire- 0
If you're flying out of Cincinnati, alot of times delta is the cheapest because they operate almost 95% of flights out of the airport. you can find certain flights for cheap.
Newbs 0
Staying on the strip, something like the Stardust has nice rooms and is cheap enough (just don't eat there :? ) Also stayed at the Mirage, and while it is MUCH nicer, you are payin for it.For flights, Sun Country airline out of MN was the cheapest we found. But then again, you are in Ohio, so that doesn't matter.

captnwmkidd 0
Cincy to vegas can be pricey. Every now and then they have a sale. If you arent against driving a little, indianapolis usually has cheaper flights. its a 2 hour drive from cincy or columbus. I got mine for $345 a week ago. Now, If your up cleveland way..detroit is the way to go...less than 2 hours drive and they always have deals that are better than clevelandsOf course, check out the discount sites on the internet for the cheapest flights.Hotels? if you havent got a room yet and are playin in the main event, you may have to stay at the frontier or the circus circus to get cheap rooms. But hey, when your playing poker for 10 hours a day, a bed is a bed.....believe me...if its clean and they have room service..it wont matter that much

DCWildcat 0
Cincy is overpriced as balls--the airport is 5 minutes from my house and I work there, I should know 8) It costs a ridiculous $275 for me to fly to Charlotte to go to college (hence why I drive). But if you will fly out of cincy, choose delta or northwest. Otherwise I can't guarentee free pretzels. Only play in the world you'll get free pepperoni pretzels
Gator 0
To save on a room, you might try calling ahead to the casino host area, and get signed up for a players card, and if you can a small line of credit. If you tell them you're coming in gamble at their casino, i.e. BJ or Craps, they'll probably give you a casino rate for the room, and then tell you after you're rated, if you play enough, they'll comp it. Those rates are reasonable and you could stay at a nice place on the strip for under $100 a nite. NYNY, for instance is only around $70. I go a lot and play BJ, so now I get a free room when I go. But that is how you get started, and it might save you some cash, and get you in a nice hotel. Just a suggestion. Good luck to your brother. I won a seat too on PS and will be there myself.Good Luck! happyjuggler0 0
Driving can be surprisingly expensive cross country, and I am not even counting the high gas prices for the past year or so. Also the time off from work is not worth it, assuming either of you is employed.I strongly suggest checking out Southwest's airfares before signing up elsewhere. I also suggest checking out Motel 6, I would be shocked if anything was cheaper, except some fleabag perhaps. There are 3 Motel 6's in Vegas with one being extremely close to the strip...however I have no idea where the Rio is so I can't say how close it is to that. Book online and get a discount. Just remember to bring your own alarm clock lol, they are cheap in more than just prices.
Guest
Find someone that can stake your brother by buying say 20% of him for $2000. Then you will have money for flight and hotel.

Good Luck man!
