Southern Buddhist 1
CSLs, huh?Damn, I was hoping someone else would ask what this meant and I could hide my total lack of sophistication. No such luck. I'm a little country girl from Virginia, honey ... what on earth does CSLs mean?If it means "crazy sexy lips," then my bad -- I'm imagining all kinds of porn meanings. You probably know the answer by now, but Ivey paid 150K to get out of it ... can't remember how long it went before the buyout but I know it was less than 3 months (I'm guessing 6 weeks or so).Dang, that's sad. It's not really hard at all to be a vegetarian. Dinner last night was wild mushroom ravioli and fresh spinach sauteed with garlic -- yum yum! Of course, I shouldn't talk because I do eat fish as well, so I'm not a pure vegetarian.

(To further clarify, I was using the non-offensive four letter female c-word.)Since I'm convoluting jokes, I'll tell this one that I made up...Q: What do you call a dark French marine mammal?A: A noir-whal! dabetka 0
Honestly, HSP needs Sammy Farha back. I'm watching the season 4 or whatever after the new episode tonight. I remember watching these how many years ago and thinking "OMG this is the best tv ever. WOW, just wow!" Why in the world has Sammy not been on the last few seasons? I can't imagine that its HSP not inviting him back after all the action he's given. Is he not playing as high anymore? Do any of the ballers know whats going on here? It seems to me that there are a few players that HSP needs to be a success in both ratings and with the forum poker crowd. Durrrr of course, Ivey never hurts, and a mixture of the internet kids and pro's. But, after watching all of the action that Sammy gave in the seasons he played, I would think that it would be absolutely gold watching him with Dwan, Ivey, and PA.Just my 2 cents

That is his side of the story anyway.

Ahh interesting ... I have heard it as DSL and CSL depending on the person who I hear it from and either way it meant the same thing ... but you are right it is funnier your way with the reversing for the gender. I might actually use that sometime
phlegm 6
Where was the hand, Ivey-Durr, that was supposed to be the sic kest hand ever?If he means the one where Durr "bluffs" Ivey off a weak ace with a humongous overbet, the only thing sick about it was Ivey considering a call. "It's bad for my game to be on TV," Farha explained, saying that he had been winning for 20 years, but ever since people were able to see how he plays, the game has gotten harder for him.Farha also mentioned Tom Dwan and said that he probably shouldn't be revealing his secrets on tv, either. Its up to Sammy if he doesn't want to play for whatever reason, but isn't it pretty much the same as Seidel hiding his hole cards at first with televised poker? Just seems kind of silly. Just seems kind of silly.yah I don't buy this explanation except maybe I've heard that Sammy is extremely superstitious. I don't think playing on T.V. is completely bad. It's a two way street. I can make the same argument and say that people will end up calling Sammy down more because of what they have seen on T.V. so he can get paid off more. It's up to him to change his game according to the opponents in the game. Anyone have any comment on the Durrr/Daniel hand where DN flopped the straight?
DonkSlayer 1
I don't really see how Dwan's play is exploitable, given how much he mixes up hands. He'll obviously run really good and really bad sometimes.
