KingJames 11
JJ looks real good.I might check the turn on the 88 hand. He raised your flop donk which standard TAGs will do with some air, so I think it's best to let them have another shot at bluffing. If he has AQ there he prob folds the turn, so vs his range I think c/c or crai might be best. wug thoughts?

If he has AQ there he prob folds the turn, so vs his range I think c/c or crai might be best. wug thoughts? The problem I saw with checking the turn is that he's probably only bluffing his complete airball hands, and I just think a bigger part of his range is going to be A10+, 97, 9J, JQ, KQ+The only hands I think he's betting the turn with are maybe a flush draw if he thinks he picked up some equity, and then obviously like sets/2 pair hands. I think he's checking behind the rest of his range, including AK.In a nutshell, other than his air hands, I think he can still have some hands in his range (pairs, draws, etc) that will call a turn bet, but check behind when checked to. Even the established poker news mags have these sort of services. http://www.bluffmagazine.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4442 I think a better idea is to steal stories from literotica and send them through a mobile service. Heck hire one of the dead beats from over there (they are writing if for free atm, should get a good price per original story for service) and have them tailor make them to end at really interesting points every 160 characters and you probably something worth wild. Have the price of the texts increase the further along in the story they get and I doubt horny guys will stop half way through. You can advertise it on two levels. The first being to christian types "it isn't porn and your not hurting anyone" The second to the real wack jobs "watching this wouldn't be legal, reading it is" and have the stories use animals and childrenIt already has an established market ( same guys who use phone sex) and you can under cut them and still make a massive profit since you can use the same stories repeatedly and don't need to have an individual female for every texter. You have to understand there is a world away from internet poker, and I'm seeing 3 trends right now that point to this being a great market to jump into1) Live poker is jumping up all around the US. Lots more players are getting interested.2) Premium SMS isn't fully saturated but ready to explode.3) Most "cutting edge" developers are doing what they always do, and that's jump on the bandwagon and hope to make tail end bucks. They're all stuck making Facebook, iPhone, and Blackberry specific apps at the momentMarketing towards online nerds would fail very very hard. However, most brick and mortar players are also the type who do not frequent the internet. The mass of degen noobies you are targeting are also unlikely to a) have smart phones and b) if they do, use them to their full potentialOh, and one more pro about it. Overhead is effectively nil, for me right now it's literally zero, and it only becomes an issue once you need increased bandwidth... but you'll only need that when you have a large paying userbase. My time and effort right now has been launching a text service geared towards AA and NA members. It's up and running in beta right now. Service functions fine. Don't have the 5 grand for a short code number, but the short code only really helps with the initial call as most people save numbers to their phone. However, this project is so easily expandable to other realms I'm very willing to work with others and provide them an easy way to get such apps up and running
