Is this a true story or not? I can't find out. I've been looking. It just doesn't make sense, if it's fiction. If it's fiction, then it's worthless... in my mind. If it's true, on the other hand, then it's fantastic.

I think there needs to be a small white truck parked next to the scene of the accident, watching but not participating.

How was the crowd for The Lovely Bones?

That's how I felt when I saw Gangs of New York, followed closely by City of God. DDL is fantastic in Gangs, but the movie didn't do much for me. City Of God though, that's the real thing.     I don

Has anyone heard anything about a movie called "Doubt". It stars Phillip Semore Hoffman and Meryl Streep. Hoffman is a priest who is accused of molesting a young black boy by Streep, who is a nun.

incorrect.
God, it was bound to happen. I actually agree with Showstopper. MI was like a bad hybrid of a spy movie with a John Woo movie, but it wasn't a good version of either. It had too much of the things that suck about woo, and not enough cool action scenes and wanton destruction. The motorcycle scene was good, but over all, I remember being extremely disappointed about the movie ( and, as a John Woo fan, I went into it with high expectations).

Yes, it looks like quite a good film which I stupidly neglected to include for Oscar potential. Haven't seen it but the trailer makes it look quite interesting.

Lucky You. A masterpiece, I must say, although I ashamed to admit that I fell asleep with about five minutes left. They were still 3 handed at the FT of the WSOP ME. So I don't know who won. I'm all on the edge of my seat here, I tell you what.

I wasn't saying it was a masterpiece, but I enjoyed it more than MI.

Hancock - Kids wanted a movie to watch last night and I picked up the Blu-ray, I still get a kick out of the movie but it could have been better.Get Smart - Okay movie, didn't laugh as much as I thought I would going into it, but as a mindless enjoyable film it served it's purpose.

Changeling. Tremendous movie. Strong script and good acting, and kudos to Eastwood for a fine job.

I'm not much of a fan of movies that have "feminist" tones because often they try to skew the viewer's perspective in an unfair way, but in this case the film very accurately portrayed the grave injustice that faced women back during those times in regards to what went on in psychiatric wards and how easy it was for a woman to just get dumped in there for the most absurd reasons. Of course that stuff was only a small portion of the injustices that were going on in the film, but that portrayal was what stuck out most in my mind.

My expectations for both of these movies are so low at this point and I have to assume that both would be a pleasant surprise.
Fred ClausPretty funny. I could watch an entire movie of just Vince Vaughn talking to people.Mini Luda was disturbing.
My wife and I were talking about this at the in-laws today and brother-in-law said that he loves when he starts talking really fast while remaining totally calm. I agreed and started repeating word-for-word two scene from Wedding Crashers and one from Old School where he does this and I absolutely love it. The whole room was silent, because no one... and I'm talking like 15 people... mainly 25-35... had seen EITHER of those movies. My wife and I were the only ones laughing because we were the only ones who had seen them. Of course, I should expect that, since both were R and both sides of my family are what you would call 'religious'... but still, I was sad.

MadeIf you haven't seen it.I liked Fred Claus until the story started and it wasn't Vince Vaughn just BSing with people anymore. It wasn't that funny, but when the black kid comes in for the first time and Vince Vaughn tells him not to jump around and just sit like a gentleman, I was dying; that's exactly how I feel about kids. Then when he was talking to the lease guy, and he wanted the money on the 22nd, and Vaughn was like, "you know or the 23rd or 24th, it doesn't really matter you'll get it either way, we'll all be happy." I love me some Vince Vaughn.

You know I have actually rented Made twice and for whatever reason (probably kids) did not get around to watching it. Put I will put it on my nextflix que again. The movie went down hill when he came back and it became an actual Xmas movie. I loved when he was fighting mini Luda and then dancing with the elves, and the parts you said.

Hansel & Gretel, a 2007 suspense/horror film from South Korea. Very creepy movie, and while it requires some suspended disbelief, particularly towards the end, it was very good. I was just looking online for some crappy horror movie to watch because I was bored and luckily bumped into this one. The movie is somewhat tied to the fairy tale, but it's significantly altered. In a good way I think. I was creeped out and wide awake watching it (at like 5am) the whole time.
