  1. I hate badbeat jackpots. It increases the rake and I've never been at a table when one hits but i've contributed many dollars. In MOST casino's that offer the bad beat, 3 aces on board nullifies the bad beat. Also in most casino's both cards in your hand have to play. Your kicker with quads may play.board is 7d 7c 7s 10s jsloser of hand has 7h ad= quad 7's w/ace kicker, both cards playwinner of hand has 8s 9s = straight flush to the jackin most casino's this would still qualify.Just wanted you to let you know Blacksheep so, when your quad 7's w/ace kicker gets beat by a str8 flush,
  2. I use Firepay. Once it is linked directly to your bank account, the funds deposited to firepay are instant. When I set it up 2 years ago, they charged 3.99 for a deposit from the bank to firepay. I think it may have gone up to 4.99. The deposit to a poker site from firepay is instant. Poker stars cash out to firepay takes up to 24 hours, but it's been in as little as 4 hours. Firepay cash out to my bank account is instant. The only fee is from your bank account to firepay. So you can move money from whatever poker site, to firepay, to another poker site without any fee.good luck
  3. GWCGWCIf it's hard to remember, think "goood with cash, great with cards"
  4. Taxes do suck! I would like the problem of winning the ME and trying to find ways of keeping more in my pocket, (and back on the tables) and out of the hands of the Govt. Karma.........want to buy some poker karma, go to the .01/.02 limit holdem games and dump $5. You would be surpised how hard this is to do. Raise/cap every pot and see how long it takes the table to figure it out. This will help you catch cards in your tourney's or ring games. I promise. Also, helps out the players playing at that level. A win of $1 at that level can help a player move up to .02/.04. Just remember, i
  5. Looks good to me. I would like to play and represent FCP. I assume we would need to arrive at our starting line up and a couple of alternates. The weekly Pstars tourney would be a good pool to pull from.I vote for dna4ever to be the team captain. He takes the time to run the weekly fcp Pstars tourney and keeps the leaderboard updated. More importantly, he seems to know how to play tournement poker.
  6. I enjoyed this tourney and I would be willing to make it a weekly thing. I voted for the heads up challenge because "other" seemed to vague. I would prefer a PL omaha h/l game. This would be the NUTS. A multiple forum bracketed tourney would be awesome. Easier said than done. Also, the only way to keep score in poker is $ won, so this makes perfect sense.
  7. I can't understand why anyone visits this forum without reading every single strategy thread. Besides Daniels journal, it's the best thing about this site. Very cool
  8. You have a challange match starting in 18 min at PS in the Private section. Doesn't look like you have any takers. I'll give it a go. Just let me know the password
  9. Biggest pot I ever lost was 7,500,000 + 10,000,000 FT bonus =17,500,000!!!I played in a Full Tilt freeroll to the WSOP ME and made it to the final table. My AA went down to AK. His flush came on the river. So, my plan of freerolling into the ME and winning went down the river. I fully expected to win the ME and get the 10mill bonus. O What Could Have Been.....
  10. Wow someone needs to club him like a baby seal.Playing against people, for money, is the best way to improve your game. You should play 5/10 6 max on Party. That's the best place for you to find weaknesses. That's 5/10, limit Holdem, 6 handed. On Party.Party 5/10.6 max.On Party.Geez Smash, if your going to invite him to your game, he needs your screen name and what time you will be playing. If you are losing at the 1/2, 2/4, 3/6, 4/8 limit holdem levels and losing....the 5/10 6person should definatly help you out. Sit down at Smash's table and I'm sure he would be able to point out some hole
  11. The $60 bankroll is going to be tough. Your going to have to grind it out at the micro limits. I wouldn't advise playing the $5.25 sitngo's unless you are very confident in your single table tourney ability. It's just too much of your bankroll to risk at one time. I would recommend playing the $1, 45person sitngo on PStars. I would sit down at a NL ring game of .05/.10 with $6, this is 10% of your bankroll and if you have 10 losing sessions, then you admit defeat. Ten losing sessions means you have failed miserably and should deposit a lot more $ and play at my table.Check out Dna4ever'
  12. You can import hand histories to pokertracker from PokerStars?Well F>>>M>. I would prefer that a player would have to take multiple notes on me, or simply pay attension, to see my playing patterns. So now, I'm going to have to buy pokertracker or pokeroffice, learn how to use it effectively, become dependant on it when playing on Stars and wait for fulltilt to support it.poop
  13. A dealer that actually gives advice while a hand is in play is so wrong it can hurt.Playing a ring game and a large pot develops with 5 players. Capped before the flop, 3 bet on the flop, 3 players drop out at the turn. River doesn't help me and it gets checked to me. I bet and the other player sits for about 5 seconds...the dealer says "raise or fold"......WTF.....I would be happy with a call. The other player mucks and I scoop the pot...no tip for the dealer, Tyvm. I asked the dealer why she didn't give the other player the"call" option and she said she thought I was bluffing. WTF. FL
  14. I didn't like this guy at all. It was funny to hear him say once that his comment was "camera talk" and not table talk. Even with the editing down, when he stopped raking pots, he shut up. When he busted out, he tapped the table and shook his head and didn't say a word. He shook hands and left. If he were a complete ass, he would have said any # of things that were going through his head. This let me see that he is not another Phil Hellmuth, but a poker player that loves the lime light and is willing to chatter.
  15. This account was spot on. I was trying to take the blinds with a standard 3xbb button raise. I got lucky on the flop with 2 pair. When you bet the pot, I'm thinking you have top pair or even a well disguised overpair. The possibility of a straight or set flashed through my mind, but I dismissed this as being paranoid since I figured you would slow play it. I made a huge overbet to take the pot right there. I figured if you call, i'm beat, and I have 6 outs. I got lucky that my 2 pair held up. I know this doesn't help, but I went on to win the tourney.Trey played great poker last
  16. I played w/ Phil Ivey at a play $ table on Full Tilt. Now how cool is that. There were over 100 players on the waiting list. That simply wouldn't happen on any other site.
  17. Ya, it was 3 to 1ish. I got lucky when it counted, but that's tournament poker. See you all next week.
  18. This site was posted last week, and sometime before that.FREE MONEY!!I got my $25 up to $60 and then back to $26. Decided to cash out through firepay. Still waiting on the transfer, but I don't think anyone else has had a problem cashing out. I highly recommend this site for a freeroll blackjack session.
  19. full tilt fishier? Yes!2 months ago I would find 2k players there. Now on a sunday night, over 5k players right now. Some of the newbies have no idea how to play holdem. I highley recommend Full Tilt.
  20. I just got "owned" by a neverwin groupie!!! master-it. out in 7th.Hope a fcp member goes the distance.good luck
  21. ok, I just registered.I don't think it would be a bad idea to try one Wednesday when the FCP multi table tourney is being played. Depending on the # of players that play this Sunday, I might set it up.Good luck
  22. So, what you're saying is that the WSOP ME should be full of the richest, not the best? What a stupid idea.Yes, the richest....which is what the ME was this year. 6000+ of the richest people in the world.....wtf.I'm saying that it should be the best poker players that can afford the buy in is all. That's all I'm saying. I don't think this will happen in the next few years, and when it does, I think it will go up to 25k.
  23. The only qualification should and will be being able to fork over the money.I think the main event should be a huge buy in....100k or so. I haven't tried to figure out how much the buy in should be based on the original 10k + inflation. I'm sure someone has done the adjustment and could answer this question. It would reduce the # of entrants into the ME greatly. Pstars sent 1100, or so, to the ME this year. They came no where close to this # for the WPT final because of the 25k.I love watching poker on television. However, I am more concerned with playing poker than with watching it. W
