  1. Yeah the pros, the best poker players in the world are going to play more conservatively, NOT!Read up on the subject they are gambling with more money overall but not individually, They wouldnt accept the game otherwise. The stakes will not be an edge imo. just a prize.
  2. Its an hourly rate and the reason they arent tipping big is because they arent usually winning big. You win an eighty thousand dollar pot are you going to tip thousand?I would imagine the swings in that game make tipping limited.on a side note that is ridiculous that the charge is so low on those seats.we have a 1-2 no limit table at our casino that charges 5 dollars a half hour. I have never been able to beat the time, for profit much less if I tip.
  3. HOLLAI have watched that graphic about a hundred times hillarious!
  4. They should just make the w.s.o.p a freeroll so every moronic poker loving 11 year old can play " for the love of the game man!"grow up and piss off.
  5. i love relishWhy?!? :!:because he hates kraut, o.k.
  6. Because they don't undertstand the concept of EV.Like Cypher said in The Matrix "ignorance is bliss."I'm just guessing here But I dont think he made that up!
  7. downswings and variance happen to us all. You question if you are good enough to play, if you were just lucky before etc. the key is losing as little as possible when the cards arent going your way.I personally have found that when ever I get on a downswing I will start making little catastrophic adjustments in my game giving a little to much action and turning a downswing into a full blown slump, So when I have one I flat out quit till I feel like I'm sitting down without unreal expectations. I tell my self I'm going to play great and if the cards don't come I'm still going to play great.( th
  8. show her you are a better christian than she is!tell her how youve prayed she fails at her prostitution career but, show her that you will not judge her and give her 20 for a bj.
  9. I think that is the only one the did, the one on barry and doyle.
  10. I guess most of you havent seen the wsop when Harington won, he was a madman playing a loose wild style and pushing in in tight spots and putting people to decisions. he would own any of you because you think seeing him on tv defines his style( wrong hes a pro he changes gears and adapts to the situation.)
  11. if my brother stole from me I would take whatever his prized posetions were and id pawn them for the exact amount he stole from me and give him the pawn ticket.( after kicking his ass)
  12. i wouldnt take that bet without ridiculous odds, don't get me wrong but Phil is a cash game specialst, I would take 20 tourney pros over him any day. He may break every single one of them at a cash table but this aint a cash game.
  13. Not to twist this into a partisan debate, but fiscally conservative and legaly conservative are not the same, the conservative justices have voted against it as they should have. Its a horrible statement about our countrys love of capitalism, when the revenue of tax dollars is the only arguement a local government needs to evoke the public domain laws.We are talking about river front property, which in almost every city is very expensive real estate. This another law that on the surface seems to help the public but in reality only hands more power to rich elite conservatives.Showing that once
  14. I say leave it alone, but start another championship, with more of a triple crown nomination type setup so that the slackers are faded out when they don't produce results.
  15. raise 6 times the button with jj and he calls with 10 7 suited, calls over half his stack on flopwith a gut shot straight draw that needs a jack, i hit the set he hits the straight and says "you have to play your strong draws!"
  16. are you people dumb, these are the best players in the world sitting in a mixed game with some pot limit and no-limit cap games up to 100k per pot, you really think they are going to sit in a game like that short stacked not hardly.
  17. interesting read, andy is a math wizard, cool to see him working out his ideas like that.
  18. I play the 30 dollar multi table tourneys at party and from my experience, its all about playing tight, and aggressive and not getting tricky wait for the hands and get as many bets as you can, it only takes a few key pots to get all inn on once the binds are higher. Most people on there dont understand how to switch gears once the cost of a capped hand escalates to the size of there stack and will accordingly break out quickly at level 5. unless you have a chip lead the final table is all about luck and waiting.
  19. they have server problems it happens dont worry it will be baxk in no time
  20. I was reading joshs fiasco with the triple draw cheat, and have to ask what the **** the dealer was thinking? I mean the guy stands pat and then gets to draw any ways, That game is so about information and position and he got his info for free, what would you do about it?
  21. yeah i bought one from best buy but i lost it in the car still havent found it!
  22. nice try but try this,1.they call to much with middle pair, and weak draws and bust out, they never play back and raise so they minimize the wins they make.2.they play too tight they sit there and wait for the 5 big hands and then play them full speed, not caring or noticing if they are drawing dead and never putting an oponent on a hand.3. they play marginal hands in bad situations against better players with bigger stacks where they can end up broke.this isnt rocket science these are the same players and mannerisms that have left the profit at the tables for years.
