  1. Hey everyone. I havent been here in awhile but I figure this would be the best place to do this since most poker forums are boring and full of beginner players. Heres the deal...(Daniel you can even participate):I am wanting 100 people to answer this simple question. After 100 people have answered, I will give the correct answer. Im wanting to see how many people that play poker, truly know the answer. *CAUTION*---Before answering the question, please give it some thought. Open your mind alittle and actually think. Its a tough question.Thank You to everyone to go along with my little experimen
  2. Well I just got through reading Volume 2 of Harrinton and its great. The last page talks about a Volume III, does anyone know when that will be coming out?_Jack
  3. Ok. For some reason I forgot something that was valuable to my strategy. Im trying to figure out the formula. You do 47(unseen cards)-# of Outs=A Then you do the # of outs/A I forgot the rest. Maybe I have it wrong but its something like this. If anyone can help please let me know!! Thanks, Jack
  4. Last night I caught the episode of Gus Hanson losing to Danny the EX-Card dealer. Ok, there is no way that guy could get lucky like that. I mean, one of the times he had a 1/2% to win, and won. Then he had 2 jacks vs. 2 queens, and pulls quads. Come on. Somethings gotta be going on. I dont know if the WPT ratings are dropping or what, but that guy was so calm about it. He didnt act excited like he knew that was supposed to happen. Let me know what yall think.__Jack
  5. Im sorry but I disagree with yall on him. Yes he is a decent player but he still doesnt know how to play very well. Since 1999 from his 1st tourn to his last of this year 05, He has only made $3,195,364. Thats not good for a pro. Not good at all. Yea he made 3rd is th WSOP for 2.5 MIllion but his next high win was only $280,000 or something like that. Most pros play that on a daily basis. HAHA. Like the other week when he was on the WPT against Daniel N. He tried to bluff when Daniel had a straight. HAHAHA, he does stupid crap and bluffs to much. HAHAHA. He is a prick like Helmuth. I like Helm
  6. Well my buddy was in 3rd position in a 6-Handed game. 1st position folded and 2nd postion raised 3x BB with AK. 3rd postion(MY BUDDY) re-raised with pcoket QQ's. 4th and 5th folded but BB re-raise with pocket KK''s. 2nd postion(AK) folded and my buddy went all-in with his ladies. BB called. Well the flop, turn and river didnt pop a Queen so my buddy was out. The funny thing is, he had the nerve to tell this guy he should have folded with pocket KK;s. He said it was late in the tourn. and there was a raise and re-raise in earlier positions(trying to be smart) and BB is supposed to fold becaus
  7. Dang missed it too....New ones on every Sunday or what???? Reruns?????--Jack
  8. I was wondering myself about PokerTracker. Does it work on ALL poker sites or certain ones?? I play on GamingClub and I was wondering if anyone knows if it works on there? I tried downloading the FREE Version but everytime, it almost finishes downloading(ON AOL), it will kick me offline and not work properly. So if anyone knows why that could help me, please let me know.---jack
  9. Just wanted to say Congrats to Daniel for the win(Even though most of us already knew that), but you played great and it was probably one of the best WPT Ive seen in awhile.**Just two questions though for DANIEL:**1. Why did you call 500,000 on the river with King High?-when the board was i think.....5 6 6 9 62. Also, when you pulled out pocket 2's early on, and Arieh re-raised with 5 2 off, did you really think he was strong or what?***Also, great laydown when Williams asked you how many chips yo had left, and you stood out saying he was on a STONE COLD BLUFF.***
  10. Thank You ROG for explaing to me about the hand and my post.I didnt want it to be a bad beat story...I wanted to see if I may have made a wrong play or good one. So please dont post anymore on how it should be in the BAD BEAT area. Just read the story and answer. Not the hard.--Jack
  11. I was wondering if anyone knew which DVD was better.....Mike Caro Pro Tells DVDOr2004 World Poker Players Conference-Jack
  12. Why would you say that?? You get better quality players then micro. Why do you think professionals play high stakes. Better quality play. So I think your wrong and I stand by my opinion.--Jack
  13. Oh I didnt realize it was heads up. I thought you were in seat 7 and guy was in seat 4 as a quick example of a play. -Jack
  14. I think you folded nicely with Q9s. Your on the button so a limp would often be raised by Blinds. And if you raises, one of them may have called you,(SINCE IT IS ONLINE). Even though you may have the best hand, whatever came on the flop may put you in a situation that you dont wanna be in. I think, if you really have to ask about hand to play or not play, then my answer is: you shouldnt play it. If you dont feel confident in your cards, then its not worth playing. Youll kick yourself later on wondering why you played that hand.Hope this helps.--Jack
  15. You know, the best thing to do is just play in higher stakes. You have spend money to make money. Dont play low limit if your not a beginner. Its not a good way to invest money. Just try $1-$2 or $2-$4...Its alot better. Then when you build enough bankroll, move up stakes.-Jack
