  1. anyone have any more updates, or final counts? how did everything end up? (at work...)
  2. Has no one thought to mention that Daniel is up over $1 million in the big game this year?check your facts OP...
  3. I've played HORSE at Fulltilt sngs, as well as a live 10-20 poker club game, and i resent being called a sheep. It's a good game, challenges every facet of lmiit strategy, and demands you pay constant attention. i don't play it exclusively, but i certainly have tremendous respect for the final table players in the 50k event A) because of the incredible field and B) because of the difficulty of the game
  4. Congrats OP. I've won more than that before, but i have never won an MTT...i may be wrong, but winning an MTT has got be feel so sweet....ah well, maybe i'll take one down next time! congrats...
  5. Just when i'm thinking, "why am i reading this? i don't agree at all...." i stumble upon a sexy photo of christina! thank you!!
  6. To top everything off, there is the prop bet rumor. If it is true that 5-6 of the Big Game players have a 1 million dollar prop bet bracelet race, then this HORSE event is even more important. This is going to be awesome
  7. A little off topic, but what's the longest any of you have played live? i play 32 hours at a 2-5 NL foxwoods table, and came out ahead.
  8. 17 hours of poker?? This is a little crazy...the final table can't be later this afternoon, can it? this only benefits guys like Chip, Doyle, and Ivey...the young internet guys have never played this long...
  9. I haven't seen any the recent video diary, but has anyone heard an explanation of the ~200k rise and quick fall in DN's chips on day 2? If he had been able to maintain that, things would have been different i'm sure. Bored at work, any info would be great
  10. so bad_ip lost around $400,000 to fast freddie (amount was unclear with all rebuys) and lost anoth $470,000 to Tilt me?thats some cash
  11. Simpleton, i was going to suggest that, then i saw you. touche. anyone care to give us a play by play?
  12. was there ever a game that started? I'm at work...
  13. Having never been to the Bellagio, its hard to determine. However, i was under the impression that there is only 1 big game, and it varies anywhere between 2/4 to 4/8k limits. I think the players playing that day decide. The next game lower is a regular 1k/2k where guys like lederer (used to play) and dagostino have attempted to play. then 400/800. i don't think they are 'enticing' people to say "hey, they dropped limits by 1/4 of the regular BB, NOW i can play"i don't know. Dont you just love hearing things about the big game tho?
  14. it was a small loss, nothing even close to eliminating the wins. in regards to a variance downswing, having great BR management skills will diminish the affect on gameplay. For me, my playing style almost mirrored my financial security, which is a horrible way to play. just enjoy poker as a game, make correct decisions and the wins usually keep coming
  15. When i first started playing full time, i won every day the first 3 weeks i played, so i think it was 18 sessions. nice wins too. Anywhere from $140 to $500. Nice little way to start
  16. Anyone one else find it funny that Allen Cunningham was voted the "Most Underrated" and NO ONE has voted for him?? Seems to definitely be a fitting award
  17. Negreanu because he would be the most fun i think, and Reese because this most resembles the cash game poker hes played and excelled at for decades
  18. thanks for sharing, that definitely adds some "real life" to the online poker world i didn't know was there. Nice to know they really do care/run things
  19. the biggest pro right now is their WSOP packages...they're giving away 100 seats absolutely free, i think, and they're offering all kinds of ways to win a seat. The server sometimes is down, but as far as gaming is concerned, good site
  20. Tim Horton storyjust so people know what this crazy OP is talking about
  21. i think these stakes are perfect. They almost mirror the big game NL games, because of the 100k minimum buy-in. As you know, they usually put a 100k cap on hands in the big game, so the stakes are identical. Except maybe this show allows for more play (1k-2k blinds in big game). So, if two people are both up in this 300/600 game, it could conceivably be bigger than the normal big game
  22. Ian Ian Ian...i forgot what this thread was about and am just staring
  23. Sorry thrillsoft, you're right. My bad. i actually do agree with you, it would make things easier. Def maybe copy/paste in suggestion forum? again, sorry
