Also a few miles from an Indian Casino (no poker there though).It would be cool to have a get together...distance would be a factor though as I usually don't have a lot of days off in a row.No way! I go to Canterbury all the time, I was actually going to go up this weekend, get drunk and go to mystic and then party with a buddy on lake 'tonka the rest of the weekend but it would have cost way to much in gas money in my truck since i couldn't get a car from any friends.IowaI think there's three of us. Are you +21? Greektown has some decent poker. I just hate the room. Kinda unorganized. I really wish they had the electronic boards. They have LCDs in the non-smoking side by the desk they use to run the tournaments. I don't see why they don't use one of them for the board. It's hard to see what games they are spreading and how long the lists are. Then a better microphone would be handy as well.. If your not standing 15 feet from the desk you can't hear them call your name. The daily tournaments are not too bad. $12/h rent on cash games sucks though. People have a tendency to play SLOW!!! Takes two hours to get drinks as well... I used to not mind the room, but then I started playing at the Wynn... Chip runners, food runners, e-boards, a decent wait staff, decent floor staff.
