  1. I just pulled all my money from there after I got scooped back to back on stud o8 because their servers were messing up and was registering raises as checks on third. People could see a card without even calling the bring in. It pissed me off and I cashed out... Let's see how long it takes them to process it now....
  2. That sounds good, I just set everything up and played 50 hands. Up 8BB. The players I met liked to check raise bluff often. So far seems like things are going to be quite profitable. My Screen Name is EdgarAllen. I am sure we will run into each other quite often. Good luck to you too. Cheers,
  3. Mainly Limit starting at 1/2 - 3/6. Which I see they do not run many full ring games. I suck bad at 6 handed limit tables... guess it is a time to learn. I will check it out and see how it does. If I don't like it after I clear the bonus, I guess I can just move on to somewhere else. Thanks.
  4. Thanks everyone. I knew I played that like a weakling. Lost lot of value here. I think I am going to cool it on the 9 tables for a while and slow down to 4 or so that what I can concentrate better. Yes Biff, you are right. MP1 had 99 and CO had KK. Cheers,
  5. I was thinking of moving to a site with rakeback while I rebuild the bankroll. How are the games at Absolute? Are they worth playing? How are the players? I've heard they are generally pretty weak compared to stars. I was thinking of putting 500-600 into there and checking it out. So far I rather dislike the software but if the games are good, I guess I will deal with it.
  6. Do we need a passport for the border crossing yet?I may be in. Some family may be coming over this weekend. I am not sure if I can ditch them or not. If I do show up, I will make myself know by doing the Krablar dance. If you see some 25 year old fat blob doing the Krablar, that will be me.
  7. Just started playing again. Sadly I took a major withdrawal from my bankroll for a business venture. By major, I mean all of it. I have about 2,000 to work with and have to rebuild. Oh the joys...I only have about $600 put into my stars account. So I have been grinding out the $1/$2 limit games. My goals are to win about $800 on 1/2 and 2/4 then move up to 3/6 by the end of the month. I hope to average about 750 hands a day. I wish I could play more, but who would of thought that starting a company would be soo damn time consuming .So far the month has been horrible, but I think I can still ma
  8. Hello all. After a slight hiatus, I've started to play again. I think I am playing too passively now.I am only about 2 orbits into the table. I don't have much of a read on the villains. Both only have under 50 hands played against. Poker StarsLimit Holdem Ring gameLimit: $1/$28 playersConverterPre-flop: (8 players) Hero is Button with A A 2 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 folds, CO 3-bets, Hero caps, 2 folds, MP1 calls, CO calls.Flop: 8 7 T (13.5SB, 3 players)MP1 checks, CO bets, Hero raises, MP1 calls, CO 3-bets, Hero caps, MP1 calls, CO calls.Turn: 4 (12.75BB, 3 players)MP1 checks, CO bets, He
  9. Are the players at $1/$2 smart enough to do that? I didn't think you started running into that until 10/20 or 15/30. I haven't played much 1/2 at all. I skipped that level. So maybe you do... I figured at that level they'd either cap or just call the single bet and wake up on the turn.
  10. Seems fine to me. I may keep betting the river depending on my mood. It's very possible he's betting a weaker ten and not just pocket three's or deuces. He didn't cap the flop which I would expect with a set.
  11. I agree with Litle's analysis. I have a hard time seeing him limping with a 4. Every other hand 77, JJ, KK would raise UTG. So I'd really think about if he had like a 45s or A4s, If I feel he doesn't, I raise. If I am unsure, I just call. I defiantly raise PF. As for the other hand. I agree. But that may be a leak in my game as well. I guess how many are left in the field would sway my decision. If I felt like the tournament was lost at this point and I could coast into the money then I would play it differently. Trying to be very cheap about it. If not, or we are in the money, I am really loo
  12. Do you have any read on him so far? I find the min raise is a little odd. In your position you very well could have a six. It feels like a "how good is your six" kinda raise. I don't figure him for much of an aggressive type. He'd raise more with a good six or the boat if he was. If I had the boat in his position, I'd just call trying to keep others in the hand to build the pot. If you did have the six, you are not going anywhere and won't stop betting. He wouldn't be losing value from you by just calling if that was the case. Without a bigger raise or just a call I don't put him on a boat he
  13. Very scary board. There are many hands he could of limped with that will have you dominated. Against a bluff with a single heart only puts you at about 2-1 advantage. A pair with a heart is a coin flip. A set, straight, or a flush puts you at about a 4-1 dog. With your stack size, continuing with this hand basically commits you. You are not invested all that much at this point and folding still leaves you in decent shape chip wise. I'd fold and pick a better spot. Even if you are ahead at this point, there are way too many redraw possibilities.
  14. Didn't his wife write an article for FT saying how they don't play much high stakes anymore. They were tired of all the traveling and wanted to slow down and raise their family or something. I believe it said they only play 2/5 5/10 and 10/20 where their advantage is huge and they can make a pretty standard income.
