I thought today's poll on IMDB was very interesting... and here we can actually discuss it.What makes this so interesting to me, is that I would actually love to read a prequel about a bunch of these characters... the problem with an actual movie... is that the characters would be ruined... which makes thinking about it, bittersweet. But I would LOVE to see a great action movie about Leon from his younger pre-child molestation stage. I would also love to see an epic Western surrounding Bill Munny's younger, rougher days. Jules & Vincent, Han Solo, Marv & Dwight, The Bride are all facinating characters and I would love to see a well made movie about any of them... even though it should never actually happen... if you know what I mean.

I went with William Munny because it sounded like he was such a badass back in the day. Of course this couldn't be pulled off with Clint getting older, but it would make for some good stories I think. Unless you just look at one of his earlier western movies and just pretned its William Munny that could work too. LOL

the thing about unforgiven is, I always viewed High Plains Drifter as it's prequel.

I went with Munny also, Unforgiven is one of my favorite movies of all time. They would have to pull it off without Clint, having a younger character take the role, but in order to make it good Clint would still have to be the director.Would also like to see a Magneto prequel, he was by far the most awesome character in the 3 movies.

it would be awesome to see a magneto movie. at the beginning of the first x-men, a young magneto was being held back while his parents were being murdered by the nazis in a concentration camp. seeing how his life transformed after this would be awesome.i would also like to see Jack Sparrow becuase he is such a cool character.however, i voted for Han Solo. Star wars is such a cool idea, especially because the prequel would probably take place during anakin's transformation to the dark side so we could see that story from a different point of view

I voted for Han also, the only problem is that Han Solo is only Han if Harrison is playing him. It's too bad, because I remember reading some stuff about a upcoming Star Wars TV series that bridges the gap between Anakin turning into Frankenstein and Luke hitting puberty. A little more on Han and Chewie during that time would have been neat.

it would be weird seeing han not being played by harrison ford, but it would still be good to watch

Richard B. Riddick – The Pitch Black MoviesWasn't that waste of film, "The Chronicles of Riddick" a prequel?
no, it wasnt a prequel, it comes a few years after. I voted for Munny... There is a Wolverine prequel in the works already and you never know what will be in the Sin City sequal that is in the works

the only one I voted for was Jules & Vincent. none of the others were very interesting to me. I believe that Q has actually talked about wanting to do a Vega Brothers movie at some point, so this one might just be the most likely to happen

Yeah I do. It is fun to think about though. I went with Jules & Vincent though because ultimately in the format of a film I think these two characters would be least tarnished. We never really think of them as good people and even though they're cool, can see them being almost anything before working for Marsellus. I like the books idea.Im also thinking of either Strider or Gandalf from the LOTR.

The Hobbit? And I'm shocked to see an anti hero thread without any mention of Travis Bickle?

I don't think you understand the question... because while Travis Bickle is an awesome anti-hero... maybe even bordering regular hero... Taxi Driver WAS the prequel... it showed from the beginning his transformation... so a prequel would be boring as hell.. a sequel maybe... but certainly not prequel material.

The Hobbit?
He's already old in The Hobbit. Im talking about when he went to Hogwarts... wait a second...
Han Solo...wtfhardcoremilleniumfalconpwnage!
The only thing I think the Han character would be good in as a prequel is hardcore porn. Star Whores? The Empire Strikes Crack? Revenge of the Clit? The Phantom Penis? The Return of the Head I.... love to get? (Okay that was pushing it.)

This is maybe the best post w/r/t movies you've ever made. Kudos.

Star Whores, starring Luke Skyf.ucker, Hand Solo and Princess Easy Leia Orgasma. Special appearance by Ron Jeremy as Chewie (they're both pretty hairy).

I seem to remember reading something about the guy from 300 doing a remake of Escape From New York. I wish they'd look at doing a prequel instead.

The orginal is too much of a cult classic. A remake could actually be pretty brilliant.
