i'm in almost the exact same position. i got up to 1500, but dropped back to 1300 on empire. i'm having trouble playing online, getting bored and switching to PL Omaha or limits out of my range.i did try one jaunt at 5/10 6-max which is a terrible idea, mostly because i am a poor shorthanded player. but i ended up folding my bb to a raise, then raising QKo UTG, flopping a king, only to have K9s flop two pair behind me. $60 gone and i'm back to 2-4.this summer though i will be living away from home in halifax, and about a 20 minute WALK from a casino, where 5/10 is the lowest limit. so maybe i could take part in your little wager here, although it wouldn't be completely fair. partially because i'm playing at a casino, with much fewer hands and will not be able to play at my will. also because 5/10 is the lowest game, so the skill level might be lower. oh yeah and don't forget i'll be playing for CDN $!

Are the both of you going to start with the same initial bankrolls? Definitely do it by # of hands... we'll have to put you on the poker-tracker honor system. This will be fun fo sho'.Do be careful though. Smash always kept his partypoker screen name a closely guarded secret, because he didn't really want the entire industrialized world to be able to access logs of 10,000+ hands to see how he plays for 40k a year. Hello all. Thought I'd introduce myself to everyone as well in this response. I've been playing "seriously" for less than a year right now. I think of myself a year go and am totally surprised at how badly I sucked back then. This doesn't mean I think I'm that good right now, just aware of how much I've picked up. and how much more there is to learn.Anyway, I'm trying to build a small bankroll online too. Even though I have enough money saved up to have a correct bankroll for many of the live games, but would rather learn my lessons on the micro-limits online and move up from there.I've read many the posts from the guys (and gals) on this thread and have have respect for your comments and am looking forward to the results of this contest.
