Highlow16 0
It's been scary since they suspended habeas corpus for certain people, decided the Constitution is toilet paper if the say the magic word "terrorist" and started closing our borders.Americans have been preetty self-righteous about the Germans letting the Nazis take over, and saying we'd never let it happen. We are letting it happen. You know how many Arab-Americans were haiuled away after 9/11? Do you know how many are still gone? No charges, no trials, their families unable to even confirm they are alive because the so-called "Homeland Security" (just like a Nazi blueprint, sin't it? A national police force.) tied the records up with the excuse of "national security?"Stalin would be proud. Certainly Hitler would. If some terrorist wants to kill an American, give him my address, but restore my freedom. The job of my government is not to protect me (as if they are or could) the job of the goverment is to protect the Constitution. It's all we have, it IS America.amenNeteller has $200 of mine

mk 11
I've put this out there before, I'll say it again. If you have money you want to get online, pm me, we'll work something out. If you have money you want to move from one site to another...mainly stars and FT...PM me and we'll work something out.Hoosier will vouch for my honesty, as will any of the mods at FCP.I think it sucks what your government has done. I feel like I'm starting up the underground railroad of poker.Bro, I appreciate what you're doing, but if I were you I'd fear the U.S. Justice Dept. There's probably something in the Patriot Act that says what you're doing is international terrorism or something.

seemorenuts 0
off topic:Well, I just found out a second ago that Firepay won't allow Canadians to deposit onto online casinos, just Europeans can.The tech guy said he ascertained this "100%"Yeah, I haven't needed to deposit for a long time so I was out of the loop on that one. MVTh 0
In regard to moving to Canada. I am a Canadian, and there is story brewing up here about a native (indian) reserve that is moving into hosting online casino, the government has expressly said "ANY GAMBLING that is NOT DONE THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT is 100% Illegal." Its just that they have as yet done nothing about it. They overlook small home games as long as there is no rake involved. But playing on ANY internet site is illegal becuase the provinces do not run it and do not take a share in the revenue. As a side note they not only take money out of the rake but take a percentage of the prize pool as well."Internet gaming, unless it's conducted by the province or licensed by the (AGLC), is illegal." AGLC = Alberta Gaming ans Liquor Comission (Provinces (like states in the US) have control over gaming.SEE ARTICLE BELOWhttp://www.canada.com/nationalpost/financi...30c&k=91486
bhaas 0
The government stealing your money, because they dislike the way you spend it, has nothing to do with freedom? So much for your Constitutional right to Due Process of Law. Oooops. No oneknows their rights. And if you want to get technical the money was never yours. FRN'saren't money. Oh well. Fuck it.

Dratj 0
Heh I'm actually not that bad off compared to some people I know. Tmay has 80k stuck and his brother over 20k, so 100k between the two West brothers...Ouch.Luckily, they just make 6 figure scores live on a monthly basis to make up for it. Wow and wow. seemorenuts 0
More about poker in Ontario, Canada.About a year ago there was an article in the Toronto Star about the almost $1 Billion (could have been half that) spent by casinos on comps/perks that are unaudited. We're talking hotel rooms, gifts, limos, Rolex watches, etc.Fact is, by law b&m casinos must operate under the direct supervision and oversight of the government, but the Ontario government has no clue as to what's going on as many of these casinos are run by US companies such as Penn (Rama).Hence, in a very real sense, these b&m casinos are operating illegally, but of course the government does nothing. The underground poker scene in Toronto is large, and also is ignored by the OLG and other authorities, including the police (to some extent, depends on the area)...Most players in Toronto would like to see a venue for poker in their city so they won't have to travel 90 minutes to Niagara or Port Perry to play. Problem is getting a local referendum to approve it, as well as other political obstacles. The government is addicted to b&m casino revenues, the latest fuss was about the hypocrisy re allowing smokers around the casinos but private bars and restaurants were prohibited from constructing seperate facilities for smokers... lol.
