TeeSludge 0
Sorry to hear that man. We all do retarded **** sometimes. You'll have no problem getting past this in your life, for sure.I'm with Actuary, as in I'm suprised I never got one. The past couple years, I've been really bad with that.Either way, best of luck to you. I hope you will still come around and critique my hands, at least.- Zach I'd yell at you; but I have no idea how I avoided getting one of those of my own. And I used to drive really drunk. Even now, my wife and I will split a bottle of wine plus consume a couple drinks on a special night out. I would probably blow >0.8.stay strong. Wow, that sucks Jordan. I've been there, so I know what you're feeling right now. I wish I had some advice, but there really isn't much. You're gonna feel bad about what you did for a while, and there are gonna be some nagging unpleasant consequences in the future that seem to stretch on a lot longer than they should.Actually, I'm pretty sure this isn't recommended, but what I did is after the initial "god, why did I have to do that" period, is basically decide that it was over and there was nothing I could do about it, so I wasn't going to feel bad. I just made a conscious decision, and kind of went from there.Anyway, good luck with everything. Try not to beat yourself up too hard.It makes sense that people in this thread are more sensible and down to earth about Jordan's situation than the people that posted in the DUI thread. Def good advice from Iggy there.
TheCorporation3 0
I was down almost $200 today playing 4 tables of 2-4 limit. Here are my results, thus far...2,359 hands played$132 profit, 33BB1.4BB/100 hands. That 1.4BB/100 hands looks good compared to how bad I was running today. I was DOWN $200 for a while and grinded it back out. GOAL:27,674 more hands for the month $2268 more profit to come. TheCinciKid 0
Just got back in town after a long weekend visiting friends in Canada. Sorry all you Canadian strat posters that I didn't have time to visit you. I probably won't play online til at least Wednesday of this week, but I'll probably try to go to the Casino tomorrow and may take a shot at 10/20 if it looks juicy. My simple goal for this month is to not lose money. I'm really not that worried about hands played or anything. I'm just hoping to play when I want to play and play well...and god willing run well. Maybe I'll make a little money that way instead of bleeding it all away like I did last month.
nickforgot 0
mehmy goals is to not go broke, i have a micro bankroll250$, never had to make a deposit on starssoI'm looking at 300$ profit or close to that from nl cash games and 5, 10, maybe a 20 if im running good mtt
Kangaroo 0
play 15-20k hands of NL, bit the bullet and bought PT and ardrunner subscription. This month is all about learning hopefully developing a solid money making NL hold'em cash game.also keep a table or two of the $20 HORSE SnGs up while im playing the cash games. I have a pretty huge ROI in them.possibly 1 table of horse and one table of token sats and try and hit a big score via them.
BudBundy 0
in these HORSE events do you play all games like HE,Omaha razz etc in a single event?I actually don't know what it is just read some threads about it on here.

No_Neck 0
Play 20k hands of NLHE I think I can do this but I had to give $5200 to my new landlord so I could move into the new place. So I am going to be bonus whoring at some pretty low limits. Not sure what my BB/100 will be but I should make at least $500-$1000

CobaltBlue 662
After getting run down at 8/16 SHLHE by donks, the table broke, I was annoyed by the prospect of having to quit to do homework (which I'd just been informed of), and there weren't any other tables in that range available, so I sat down at 20/40 SHLHE. I got rewarded for my poor decision-making and quickly recouped my losses on my first hand. I then came to my senses and left. Blah. I've got to make sure I don't do that again in the future.(This is for public shaming purposes.)

iggymcfly 0
September has been fun so far.-$600.Leak: Too many tournaments.Just remember how much longer it takes to fade variance in MTTs. You could lose 100 tournaments in a row and then make it all back with a big win. Just because you've lost a bunch recently doesn't mean they're -EV.

BudBundy 0
I always wonder how you guys survive on Party without rakeback and bonus.I mean i have the confidence even if i go busto i ll have my rakeback by the 8th,do a couple of monthly bonuses on Crypto and my roll is 500$.Not much but better than grinding at micro stakes yea?Does the softness of the games really make up for the rakeback+bonus loss? dimseven 0
Meh, just played a satellite to the 215 LHE event for the WCOOP, turned out only 1st place got in, ha.Instead I'm just going to buy in to that event. I just discovered that the blind levels are 30 min, so it's better than the usual 215 LHE MTT on Stars where levels are 15. I think it might mirror the WSOP structure but I could def be wrong -30min levels - 30ish+ hands/HALF HR online VS 1hr levels - 30ish~ hands/1 HR livePlus new plan on top of that is to hit up the $33+R/a to satellite into the $1050 LHE event (same blind levels of course but 5000 starting chips instead of 2500).
