DanielNegreanu 141
We are moving forward and have set up a league page. These are still considered "unofficial" rules, but we should have official word very soon. We are NOT taking sign ups yet as the process for that is still undetermined. Check out the page here: http://www.alternativehockeyleague.com/fcpheadsuprules.htm

reedmcneal 0
I don't mean to complain, but it seems hardly fair to group 80% of the US into one division. California: 36 millionNew York: 19 millionNevada: 2.3 millionEast Coast (the rest): 236 millionhttp://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/Chances are pretty slim for some of us. I'm guessing those are merely nominal, and you don't have to be in that area to get a team in that division.

Those are just tentative names for the divisions. We are going to be piking 32 teams from all over the place, it could end up being 32 teams from California. It'll be random from that perspective. The only two teams that are already guaranteed a team are my Cheap Thieves and the Ghosts of Elvis, the guy helping to run the pool. If Jayboogie doesn't get his own team, I'm snatching him up! DanielNegreanu 141
any idea on when thge sigh up is going to start? We should be able to set that up very soon as it's not too difficult. All we need to do is set up an e-mail address and then have you guys enter your screen name, team name, etc. Once we have a start date solidified we'll go ahead and start announcing registration. From there, we'll release team names shortly after that.

How is this for an introductory offer:-Signing bonus-Three year escalating contract-Option year after FIRST year of contract-Performance bonuses. Now here is the doozy:-First dibs on all groupies I have to pass on since I'm a married man. BOO YA! Signed, sealed, delivered, lol.

dbrent2 0
Is there some way that "Charter Members" are guaranteed a spot on a team. With so many people wanting to play, I think it would be a shame not to have everybody who wants to participate involved. Of course, there would have to be some rules on no shows...The teams can be set-up like "the Corportation". The team captain decides who plays, and then money can be split by vote of the team...Just a thought

Signed, sealed, delivered, lol.I can equal everything in your contract except of course the groupies. But I can still call league office to complain about your "tampering". I think we need a new CBA because rich owners like yourself can afford to out-groupie us poor revenue franchises who have no groupies in sight. I call for a strike! The players would like a salary cap, and their $500 buy-in prorated over a 20 year period, with interest of course
