Trip report when you get back please. It's just Wines & More here, but yes, it's amazing. And they do a great job getting new stuff in quickly, updating their twitter, and since they have shitloads of space, they also stock tons of mix 12-packs and let you do mix-a-six and all that good stuff. There's a couple lesbian broads up here that opened a store called Craft Beer Cellar a few years ago. They've now opened 4 or 5 in state, and are in the process of opening one in Brandon, Florida, wherever the hell that is. Only craft beer. No booze, no wine, nothing from the Bud/Miller/Coors crew. They really are perfect for me, but the closest is a half hour away, so I don't get there too often. Good for them. hank213 1,823 Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 i'll share what i can from the trip. i have a feeling this trip is going to be a bit of a foodie trip. i'm on antibiotics through monday (or supposed to be) and have the tolerance of a 13 year old homeschooler anymore so boozing will be small. didn't have the time to fully vet any hookers so don't know if i'll be partaking of that particular vice. so that's pretty much decadent food and gambooool. need look for that restaurant thread i think... Get the wagyu beef. No need for the pricier Australian wagyu. That's crazy spensive. That will be about a $150+ meal but was fantastic. How much you looking to spend on places, meals? From what you share through your posts, I can't see you having the stones to get a hooker, even if you knew you wouldn't get robbed or pinched. Drink, yo i've eaten at craftsteak and gordon ramsay steak. craftsteak was comfortable victory. at craftsteak i had the filet at ramsay i had the wellington. i made wellington a month or so ahead of going and i think mine was just as good as gordon's. also they forgot the reduction whereas craftsteak meal was flawless from soup to nuts. well i'm eating at emeril's fish house sunday night. may hit up gordon's pub @ caeser's for a meal. need a good buffet reco aside from the newer one at caeser's (bacchanal or something?) which i'll probably hit regardless. isn't mandalay supposed to have a good steak type joint? man, this is the least prepared i've ever been for a trip to vegas... What I liked most about downtown was there was a concentration of casinos to collect dollar chips from. Plus, the mrs enjoyed the zip line. Clearly, I was too fat. I like activities and fun, but if won't run myself ragged. I love an afternoon nap and I don't feel the urge to stay up until 3am every night anymore. Or wake up at the ass crack off dawn.
