nappy dappy:download and burn this ISO to a CD:http://releases.ubuntu.com/9.04/ubuntu-9.0...386.iso.torrentrun the install on your server, then follow these instructions other than item #4 (I don't know why you'd need flexRSS):http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1114965the only thing you'll need to do after that is make sure you've got it set to a static IP and forward the ports correctly. I did all of those steps last night and could probably do a clean install again in under an hour, including the OS install. the end result is: click a torrent download link in firefox, watch as it is automatically sent to your server. drag/drop to your desktop when it's done.a bunch of police sirens were going off not too long ago. it set off every dog in the neighborhood, plus some coyotes in the woods behind my house. creepy.

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

and after 3 days, he is risen!

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

I woke up around 11, showered, and -- since I have a day full of breaking-up to do -- wandered up to the corner store to get some fuel in the form of caffeine and nicotine. I'm a little groggy, since I haven't had any stimulants since the previous evening, so I'm shuffling around like a sleepy-zombie, nigh-oblivious to my surroundings. As I approach the counter to pay, the door jangles, and in walks a kinda-hot chick. She looks familiar so I stare a little. She's Indian, about my age, and has a pretty good body, as well as small nose-ring and an eyebrow ring. At some point, she notices me staring and makes eye contact. I narrow my eyes and furrow my brow a little, hoping to give off the, "Hey you look familiar but I am not going to say anything about it unless you give me some positive feedback, here, since I -- you know -- don't want to be all weird." She smiles and nods a little.Wang: "Hey, do I know you?"Girl: "That's original."Wang: "No, seriously. Did you go to Grand Blanc?"Girl: "Yeah. Now that you mention it, you look familiar. Eric or something?"Wang: "Close enough. Derek. Nice to meet you..." (trails off)Girl: "Avarti."Wang: (suddenly excited) "Yeah! You cost me sex once!"Avarti: (hesitant) "Uh... did we know each other that well?"Wang: (waves hand) "It's a... long story. No, but I knew your sister a little. It's a good story, and I'd love to tell you, but the girls behind the Speedway counter are already staring. Why don't I give you my number, and you can call me if you want to grab a drink sometime."Avarti: (shrugs) "Okay. What are you doing tonight?"Wang: (Breaking up with my girlfriend. HOW ABOUT YOU?) "I'm going to be busy until about nine-thirty, ten, but after that nothing."Avarti: "Alright, well, I work until a little after 10. Meet me up there, we'll get a drink and go out."Wang: "Okay. Sounds good. Where do you work?"Avarti: "Buffalo Wild Wings?"Wang: (laughing) "You don't happen to know a... You know what? Nevermind. I'll pick you up at 1015."Avarti: "Alright. Just come in, take a seat at the bar. I'll find you."Wang: "Alright. See you later."Avarti: "Yup."So I've got a date scheduled for about 1 hour after I break up with my current lady-friend. And she works where, as far as I know, Maggie works. They are probably friends. It's a Friday night, so Maggie is probably scheduled for a shift, and I'm going to be picking a date up there. I didn't really think this through. All I knew is that I didn't want to say, before I even went out with Avarti for the first time, "I used to date somebody you work with."So somebody run me through my options. As far as I see it, they are:1) Say nothing. Hope Maggs isn't scheduled, and if she is, hope she avoids me.2) Call Maggie. When she doesn't answer, text her and explain that I am picking up a date there tonight. Apologize. I am leaning towards #1, but I am soliciting advice. I am truly, sincerely hoping I don't run into Mags tonight. That's a headache I just don't need. If somebody sees me up there with a different waitress, it's a pretty good bet that Maggie hears about it, since many of the employees up there know me by sight. She won't care, but Avarti will hear about it sooner or later. Should I broach the subject myself, or let her find out on her own?
I am way behind but can't wait for the ending.

we are still good friends, no need for any bloodbathsI was a nice boyfriend even though I am an unlikable fatass
I was kidding. Its a shame you two live so far apart. You guys obviously had alot in commonbut it was probably inevitable this happened. Well, and we didn't get any drama out of it which was cool, but are you sure you couldn't move to England and stalk her? You know, on our behalf? Some excitement around here never hurts ya know.
Randy, I would absolutely love it if this girl dumped me, but I think we're past that point. She sees the writing on the wall, and knows the hammer is coming. Aside: I went to see her at work, once, and she introduced me to a guy she works with. He was black and overtly hostile. So, babe, what's up with this guy getting in my face? "Oh, that's just Brandon. It bothers him that I'm dating a white guy."So he has a thing for you? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not a big deal and I'm not possessive or anything, but I'd like to know what I'm dealing with."No. I mean, actually, yeah, he always hits on me and stuff. He says it's been too long since I've had The Hammer."Just so I'm perfectly clear, The Hammer is..."Yes. Black Penis."...Re: Randy's Six Month RuleI don't think I've ever met a woman that passed the 2-week test that didn't pass the 6-month test. Actually, now that I think about it... Jesus Christ, how many women have I been with for 6 months? If you had asked me that question, and I'd been forced to give an off-the-cuff answer, devoid of thought, I would have answered, "3 or 4." That, however, is not true. One. I'm 26, and I've been with one fucking woman for longer than 6 months, and it was the worst relationship I can imagine. Some unexplained, one-line highlights:- Attempted suicide. (Her)- Pregnancy. (Me. Just kidding: her.)- Co-dependency. (Both.)- Rampant infidelity. (Her.)- A second pregnancy, which she admitted during a fight, simply to hurt me, was not mine. (Her.)- Alcoholism. (Me.)- Complete destruction of any sense of self-worth. (Me, by her.)- Left me for the captain of the rugby team when my existence reached its nadir. (Her.)You know how there's a really simple explanation for everybody's behavior, no matter how strange or divergent that behavior may be? My neuroses with women become incredibly transparent (though no less pathetic) if I explain my two most important relationships. The reasons I'm a total bitch-fag are pretty simple. So, for now, ignore all of my comments re: Randy's Six Month Rule, since I have very little to offer in the way of practical, real-world advice.I... have decided to separate this into two posts, since my other story is much happier/better/not-the-worst.
Your little list there sounds like alot of my past relationships so you should heed JJJ's advice about me. I was a suckerfor blonds with big tits and pretty smiles. I've learned that the infatuation wears off and you generally learn the psyhotendancies within 6 months. You're radar seems to be more in tune than mine. I was always drinking so that didn't help.I'll try list some of my past 6 monther's if I have time.
I think my relationship beliefs are probably the exact opposite of whatever Randy thinks.
Thankfully. Hey, I'm in the greatest one ever now! I'm the king of my house! Whenever she's not around.

So last weekend when I attempted to setup a home server...did not go well. I originally tried re-installing xp on my laptop (had windows 7 RC on it), but it wouldn't work. I then tried putting ubuntu on it, but I couldn't get it to mount the hard drive. I assumed it was because of the partial windows install on the hd so I used Hiren tools to completely wipe the hard drive. Tried installing ubuntu again, but it wouldn't even recognize that there was a hard drive attached. So I tried to install xp again, but the setup would say "no hard drive available". From searching on the internet I found that I need to install some drivers on a floppy and then install the xp, but no floppy drive on my laptop. I managed to figure out how to create a new install disk using winlite that included the missing drivers on it and then was able to install xp on my laptop. Then I ran out of time and got busy with school and haven't messed with it since. I will give it another go today though. Although, I'm not really sure what I'm doing. I've managed to gather the torrent is the newest ubuntu and the next link is a way to setup a torrent server on it?

You know what I call girls that do Matthew Lilliard? Trollops
chuckleI like that Jess girl, but I didn't read her backstory. But still, does backstory really matter? All girls are damaged psychopaths on some level.

You can just see the vapidity, no?
That's actually the word that first came to mind, since it's how I typically describe idiotic little dogs like the one she's holding in the picture. You know what's kind of funny? I bet if you said to Jess, "You and your dog are the most vapid pair I've ever met," she'd continue looking at you with the exact face she's making in that picture, since she'd have no idea what you were talking about.

Ok, so I did this and it works...kind of. I have deluge setup and am currently downloading a torrent just to test it. However, I can't seem to access the webgui. I am behind a Linksys WRT-54G router, so that's probably the reason. I haven't bothered to flash it (it is flashable), because the gui looks scary to me, and I've never really had a reason why the factory gui doesn't work. Should I put tomato or something on it? What are the positives for doing this? Will this solve my problem?

I have no idea what I'm doing with computers when it comes to stuff like this. And, negative ghostrider, the pattern is full. (no)I also tried opening port 8112 on my router, but I don't know if it worked or if I did it correctly.

if you follow the instructions precisely as written, it will work on the laptop.no need to open port 8112 on your router. I wouldn't want to leave that open to the Internet as I'm sure it's not totally secure.

my initial mistake with it months ago was fucking with settings thinking I knew better than the person who wrote it. this often leads to problems if one is a painfully retarded noob such as myself.

I thought I followed the instructions but I just realized I put off some updates that popped up during one of the steps. Maybe they weren't part of it, but I'm going to let them install and then I'll try to access it again and if it doesn't work, I'll start from scratch.I'm going to be honest and say I have no idea why I'm doing this. Is it so I can access it from any computer and add torrents to it? I'm only doing it because you told me. My goal of a media server is just so I can access my files wherever I am/share them and to up my ratio.

if you have it set up to always seed, you never have to worry about ratio. the pain in the ass is just making it so accessing downloaded files and checking the status isn't difficult.Do you have deluge on your laptop? Is it under the Internet apps list?

Me tooI don't really get him either but I figure it's like a stream of conscience thing where it eventually makes sense plus he's a sharks fan so that's goodJess looks good - Maggie looked good - was there a photo of Parvati? You do well for yourself TBWent to a minor league San Jose Giants game last night with four kids - they all got bored by the 3rd inning. Three homers were hit during that time so when we were walking out so I was looking for the baseballs as we walked towards the mini-van. First baseball I've ever gotten (albeit California League, not MLB).

Yeah, deluge is under my list of apps and I used it to download a torrent so that's working. Like I said, I probably missed some step and will try again. My ratio got off because I used to move all of my downloaded music to a different folder, but I've since been just leaving it where it is to seed to get my ratio back going.

almost everything he writes is in reference to something said on the forum. he mixes in some seinfeld, some old school fcp references, and a little insanity to create pure genius.
