If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

and after 3 days, he is risen!

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

My flight doesn't get into to KC until 11 central time, so calm your tits Napa, we're all in for a late night here. But I hope you lose tonight because I don't like your team.

My buddy wanted to stay for the senior night stuff so it's 12:12 and I'm just now getting to be bed. I might not make it to my morning workout.

You deserved to have a bad flight experience after besmirching the great Iowa state university.

I don't think this thread would exist anymore, assuming it still does, if there weren't besmirching going on.

you can't besmirch a piece of poop. now if we were talking one of the finest institutions in all the land, the university of KANSAS or the other top quality school known to most as UNL, well that would be a different story.

happy strat could make some money today. one of the guys in our office is bragging on how he sold all his accounts out of target last week. hope you did the same stratego.

Whywaste my time besmirching individual college BB programs when everyone knows they all suck, when you get right down to it. Same as College Football.

I have the best Target story.

A few days ago, this jerk client called in asking for a stock rec. The director of my department tells him to buy Target. The client is like, no, I don't think that's wise. Cue today.

This client is never firing us precisely because he lives to contradict the director, and does a good job of celebrating it in front of the CEO whenever he gets it right. And the CEO, in turn, obviously really enjoys relaying this message to the director. Anyway, if I had to pick a phrase for what happened here, I'd call it a virtuous cycle. I don't know how it got started, but it made my day today.

Tilt, I'm real mad at you right now.

That's a good story strat. I do enjoy when clients second guess our PMs. They don't like it, but I get a little smile from it.

Tilt, I'm over it and we're back.

Is it bad to waste a fake "calling in sick" day to catch up on housework? I called out from work just last week because I ran out of time during the weekend to finish mowing my lawn and cleaning the shutters. I guess doing more work at home than you would do at your physical job location is the lamest but most practical way to spend a "get out of work free" day. LOL.

I seriously need to get my priorities in check and treat myself to a lazy day on the couch watching TV. Eh, forget TV, to spend it playing poker.

So I needed cheddar cheese for my cooking tonight, and I couldn't buy that at Sam's club in a reasonable quantity, so I had to make a stop at a standard Walmart. I also needed the stick butter.

The cheese was a straightforward decision, it goes bad pretty quickly. The butter, man was it a different situation. It expires in August, what do you do?

I bought two family packs of 8, for less than $4. I feel like that was the right call.

Way behind here, stopped catching up. But, butter can be frozen and cheese should last like a month, so unless your buying a wheel I wouldn't worry about spoilage.

SA, I spent some time in at the Cosmopolitan. It was really slow but to be fair it was really slow on the strip in general that night. I did notice that they appeared to have more cocktail waitresses per sq foot than most places which was nice. Vibe was pretty good but the "sports book" is LOL. It was 2 tvs (~40in) and a podium.

MGM sportsbook is my favorite I hate what they did when they put the poker room in freaking corner where nobody can find it apparently. Luckily the guys from the cement industry in for a week long convention, were just as bad at poker as when they had the old room location.

All bets are probably off with the still disturbing news of pay to park and drink rationing. Actually I don't drink more than a couple beers during a poker session, but it's the principal of the thing.

Had an Oncologist appt today. She wasn't impressed with the progress of the lump on my cheek disappearing (frankly, neither am I). Radiation is over now but will continue cooking my face for a week or so apparently. This has now included burning the inside of my mouth, lipps and tongue on that side so the point I can't eat anything I can't drink, So I'm pretty much living on Ensure and yogurt. Lost 10 lbs in just under a week.
