20 some people out of 15,000 people registered on this site have posted in this thread. My guess is those that lost are not lining up to tell everyone about it, JS.BTW ... Good to know double posts are not out of style in 2006

2005 was a good year. I am up a little more than $1600 playing $5-30 SNGs on Pokerstars (this includes being net down from NL cash games). My main hope for 2006 is to have some success with MTTs and at the very least make a final table. My best finish so far is 11th, but I have a couple dozen finishes between forty and two hundred. hopefully reading Harrington's tournament strategy book will help.

I don't keep (anywhere near) perfect records, so here's my year.Started playing seriously online in July after turning the free $25 from powerplayer into 200, and then went bonus-whoring through PSO, made some withdrawals to pay bills, buy plane tickets for family to come visit for Christmas, apartment pet fees, and pay for my dog's surgery... then topped it off on the 29th with my 2nd in the forum freeroll for $750, leaving my BR at about 900 right now... and +2200 or so for the year. I think.

Well, my Stars bankroll is sitting at $106.10. Not a lot, but considering I ran my initial deposit of $50 down to about 80 CENTS, and that I had promised myself I wouldn't deposit again if I ran that out...I'm happy with where I ended up. My lastpoker play of 2005 was a $1 PS SnG that I didn't play with particularly well, but I did make the correct play on my last hand and the cards just didn't cooperate.

Had a good year as well, put $50 down in april, played $5 sngs almost exclusively, then tens and twenties mixed in with some mtt's and now i'm four tabling 1-2 nl and playing $50 sng's, good progression i believe while practicing good bankroll management the whole time. From april until now i made $6150 (didnt withdraw a dime) with one 8th in stars rebuy for a $1300 win. Looking to focus more in the new year and take my cash game play more seriously. Good luck in the new year everyone.

Net profit of $.013 per second of play this year.
That's like 78 cents per hour TP/M78cents. You're on poker welfare.
1.3 cents a second, is 468 bucks an hour, according to my math
Net profit of $.013 per second of play this year.

Actually 78 cents per minute or $46.80 per hour. Very good rate I would say.
my math sucks lol

For the last 18 months or so I played around with $100 here and there, play for a couple weeks and cashed out, I was winning, but I didn't have a clue how much. Then with the free $50 from PokerFantasy I got that up to $300 pretty quick, cashed out $200 to 'stars... needless to say I lost it all... then with the remaining $100 or so (about mid Nov now..) have focused on getting organised, recording my play, playing more, being very stringent on bankroll management and whorin`.I'm now at $1600 mainly through NL cash games over a ton of different sites.Decided to cut out all SNGs and MTTs (apart from the very occasional $3R) because they're a massive drain for me, and focus on my cashgames, mainly NL.Pretty much given up on learning a new game. Maybe Omaha..

I dont mind being the first to say Im down for 2005. I won a little over $1,000 playing live and lost about $1500 online. So about $500 down overall. Im thinking about just quitting playing online. I do take some bad beats, but I just dont think my game is suited for online play. Does that even make sense? Like the idiot I am though, Im sure Ill make another deposit. Oh well. Good luck to everyone, and You are welcome to all those winners Ive contributed too.

I didn't keep very good records....I deposited $150 in PP towards the end of last year... In March I took a lot of my winnings out to buy a new computer...So, if I take the amount of money in the 3 sites I now play on, add in the cost of the computer, and subtract $150... I made just under $2000Not bad for playing $10 sgl tables the first 5 months, taking a few month break to finish 1 last class so I could technically graduate from college, and at one point working less than $1 on PS to over $400 thanks to reading SSHE and playing in the Negreanu Opens.I also quickly turned the $245 I deposited (from PS) into FCP into a little over $900 thanks to the tournies DN set up. That about sums up my whole year... made a lot at the end of the year from you guys to help out my totals :-) Speaking of records... I bought poker tracker for when I played on PS right before FCP opened... Is there a way to get my stats from FCP on PT? I couldn't find a way, but I didn't look too hard either.

Glad someone had the guts to admit. Don't feel bad...My profit by far came from live play and most of my loss from online play...hang in there and hope 2006 turns it around for ya!!

Live play - Up about $400 thanks to my trip to Vegas. Playing 1/2 & 2/2 in FL makes for a slow ride. Online - Was down about $600 until a mad rush the last week of Dec. Made over $1200 within a week, so +$600 for online. Not bad for about 6-10 hours per week. Nice hobby.Good luck to all in the coming year.

Well this was my first year being semi-serious about poker online. If you count the Partypoker Million and WSOP packages... I guess I am probably about $30,000+...... but if you don't count that, around $6k+. I just graduated from Auburn though and have enough in my account to take a shot at playing poker for a living for a few months, and if it doesn't work, I have a degree.... If anyone cares my blog is in my sig at the bottom.gl to all in 2006!!!!!!

Have to say that I am down for the year too. Live +143.44 7 sessionsOnline -96.24 as of yesterday at midnight.didn't take online that serious as the money didn't seem as tangible to me so I donated a lot on fulltilt and bodog at first. since october 1, I am up 324.52 based on the new ability I've learned since HOH1.Thank you Dan Harrington, and hopefully this HOH2 I bought today will help me to my first MTT FT and win in 2006.BTW, up 122.05 today, so officially up for 2006 right now.
