LAS22 0
Having to watch Christ Ferguson demonstrate his ability to cut everything but the kitchen sink in half with a playing card he has thrown. They show it on almost every show (WSOP, Learn from the Pros, etc). It was cool the first time...but after like the 379th time it is old.

I watch a decent amount, and I've only seen this twice.
LAS22 0
Maybe it is too much tv, who knows? You can watch Poker with the Pros next week on Fox Sports and see him cut crakers thrown up in the air in half.

EdOwen 0
The thing I hate the most about Poker on TV is when they show the Hellmuth clip of him winning the main event... I can't stand it... his smile... lol
rwood 0
norman chad and lon mcheron are by far the worst aspect of televised poker.
LAS22 0
You're right rwood, Norman Chad is worse than Chris throwing playing cards and Vince VanPatten ranks right up there as well.

Kari Byron. Also that missing cards trick Ferguson did once on an ESPN broadcast last year was also lame. He is not David Blaine, or Rainman, it's a peg memory game. This is how he did it:http://www.thememorypage.net/cardbase.htm orhttp://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/m...e/memories.html

Braunyrez 0
I have not seen this before, I guess I always miss it. For those of you who dont know Ferguson is not the only one to do this with cards. Ricky Jay, the craps dealer from "Deadwood" wrote a book on this called "Cards as Weapons" probably in the late 70s. I remember watching him on tv when I was a youngster either on "Thats Incredible" or some Guinness Book special. He could throw a playing card 90 mph and stick it into a sheetrock wall. After seeing that show there were cards all over the house. At 90 mph, you could put someones eye out.

Jennings7 0
funny.the OP listed on of the LEAST annoying things about TV poker. It might be one of the least annoying to you but that doesn't mean its the least annoying to him. I will agree with him that they play it way to much but I don't really find it that annoying. Slightly irritating is more like it.
jdquads 0
The worst thing was on today the fulltilt tourney. That one girl with the Nicole Ritche shades that took up half her face.

BigDawgBuuck 0
One of the many annoying things about televised poker is the announcers' pity for themselves. We get to hear all about Norman Chad's divorces, about how bad he is, and how unlucky he is about everything.
