for you, it's prob. better to not look at the lobby for now, but when you get more experienced it is important (at least it helps me) to look at the lobby. most every player tightens up, great time to steal blinds. also, sometimes there are huge relative pay-percentage increases in one particular position (in the FT) and it is valuable to have that knowledge as well.

well if anyone cares i ended up getting 22nd of 410, 40 paid.. i netted 199.5 .. but 1st got over 10k .. so eehh, i guess i'm happy i atleast got in the money and i was playin well too.. dont think i had one single suckout and i think i was only in like one single coin flip.. if that. and i wasnt the all in one... there was a key hand where i had KK and lost to AK & QQ ... i was a big stack before that.. after that lose Ace came up.. i was avr. stack and didnt see anything for a while.. if i woulda won that.. that woulda been nice.. at the time i woulda been 2-3rd in chips

i'm 'guessing' LAG and TAG mean loose/tight aggresive gambler?i guess i'm more tight.. but i've been known to get pretty loose around the back end and take blinds.. i'm not planning on doing that too much at this MTT cause players defend their blinds more and i dont always have the guts to throw out correct nuts (bluffs)

i think you have to call.. someone said make it 500.. but i think thats a death trap.. cause one person will call you.. they will most likely have a pocket pair.. putting your AK at a huge disadvantage to the flop.. but its not worth it to risk going all in cause theres no sense in taking a coin flop.. just call and see a flop.. that simply..

i won a ticket to this $100+8 MTT at pokerroom... i decided to use it today at 3pm california timethere will be about 410 entrants, top 40 will pay, 1st geting about 10kthe problem is i play $20 MTTs.. and after 13 of those i've only cashed twice and am in the whole $40. and i've played one single $50 MTT (yesterday) and i got 12th of 209 and cashedso basically i'm not good enough to be playing here.. any advice ?

well, hes basically rightur only 14% to hit ur A orK assuming you have all 6 outs.. and you're pot value wasnt great.. but heres your big mistake.. if you ARE going to call on flop.. you HAVE to raise his bet on turn if you do hit.. cause you don't have pot-value on flop.. soooo.. that means you're calling because you think if you hit your A or K you will have the best hand... you don't call.. and then hit.. and then still flat call thinking youre beat.. thats idiodic.. and wtf would you think he had AJ?? if you thought he had aj then you shoulda folded.. if thats what you put him on he coulda

i have pokerrom, FCP, fulltilt, absolute, and party (which i hate) and paradise.. and i'm looking for another one or two to open.. specifically i play MTT's for the most part $5-$30 buy-ins.. and i don't like flat payout structures.. currently i only play on pokerroom or FCP (as they are the exact same site).. whats the next best site for MTT's though, even if its one of the sites i already have (except party).. but the site needs to have good software as well.. with good notetakin ability.. i've heard some good things about ulimatebet.. so i ma go there ?thanks, knight
