BETNFOOL 0
When I flew to New York this past week I couldn't believe gas was $2.49 a gallon. Here in the Nashville area its between $1.99 - $2.05 for the cheap stuff (87 octane)How much is it where you live?i try to never pay for my gas. i feel its like gambling, if they are going to turn on the pump for me its a gamble. they turn it on, i fill up and drive off, they lose. If they want me to pre pay well that station wins.2.25 per gal (diesel) i drive a big f350 ford truck it sucks down fuel like ron-mexico at the church hill downs
All_In 0
Do you drive with milk and water?Do you drink two gallons of milk or water EACH DAY?Using your logics of comparion, a gallon of gas is way too cheap than a pound of steak, gold, diamonds...Also, it's not just about what the price the gas currently stands, it's also about the huge inflation rate on the gas price before and after Bush caught Saddam who attacked Pearl Harbor and almost destroyed the world with his WMDs.last time gas prices were this high was when bush sr. was in office. another oil guy.coincidence?????why are so many people so dense, that they vote a war criminal to a 2nd term??? thecortster 0
$5.59 per gallon in Berlin, Germany (or €1.22 per liter)
Meatwad 0
It's around 2.50 for the lowest and $2.75 for the highest octane in Los Angeles. Yikes.California has to adhere to a stricter refinement quality than other states so it's cleaner burning and higher priced.
WarOfAttrition 0
Fairbanks, Alaska... $2.20-$2.30That's not atrocious until you go a little outside town and see the Alaska pipeline (which happens to be America's largest oil harvestor inside its borders) going on its merry way into the horizon...right next to a gas station *sigh*
brabz 0
$1.97-$2.02 in Central NJ by the beach.
Guest
$2.23 in AZ. I have a friend who trades oil futures .. he tells me that with China, India expanding their us eof oil and gas, along with low refinery production and terror threat gas average for U.S. could be 5.00+ per gallon in the next five years. This guy is not a quack either, he does this stuff for a living. The Japanese really need to start pushing fuel cell and hybrid technology over here in the states. In the next five to ten we are going to need it or our economy might really start to stagnate.
foldnrun 0
manitoba, canada... a buck a litre... i know calculatoins were done before but i dont feel like doing them.$1 / L = ??
DiverDown4 0
It really doesnt have much to do with transportation, although that does have some cost added. I live in Boston, prices are high, but the thing with gas is that its taxed. Heating oil is not. Different states, have different taxes on their gas. The federal government also taxes gaslone, however it is the same for each state. In massachusetts, we have a 41 tax on every gallon of gas. I believe the fed gov is 30 cents and the state is 11. So, my state tax is 11 cents, yours may be more. Thats why some states are more than others.
PVeLLi 0
Kinda funny actually. I was home here in Mass, and went to my friend's house in Dedham, and went to fill up at the local gas station, price was 2.13 (fukin too much money). But then I go to see my buddy in connecticut, and the price for gas is up at 2.89. I was like "WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTT"basically cars suck, wish I could just teleport like the hot chicks in Lord of The G String, when Araporn teleports to PornDoor to get the mythical G string. KTW 0
Just paid $2.49 for 93. I get 100 low lead at the airport for $2.80.There is a station that sells Cam2 110 for only $3.50. 8)
dtmb6 0
Yeah, it just cost me 25 bucks to fill alittle less than HALF My tank, mind you, my gas tank is a 14 gallon tank. Well, don't even expect gas prices to go down anymore, sometime this century we are supposed to reach the midpoint of oil usage, meaning, half of the earths oil supply will be consumed. So the prices will skyrocket sometime this century. Time to get a hybrid.
