Dubey 1,035
Another question:when do I need to have my $30 paid by? And who do I ship to?
Zach6668 513
We haven't worked that out yet. In the future it'll be in the off-season, but once we get more pressing matters settled, we'll work on that and set a deadline.Would you be willing to move Martin instead? Or Letang? WestcoastCanuck 0
And the part he didn't buy, he traded for this morning. Duncan Keith and Marty St. Louis for a pair of 1st round picks, Steve Ott and Victor Hedman... It's all coming up Hurricanes this year. Please tell me how these were bad deals. SBriand 4
Please tell me how these were bad deals.I don;t think anyone is saying they are bad deals. It's just how he is acquiring all these good players for his already stacked team. The only way I would think they were bad deals is if you said you were trying to win this year, because it will be hard to beat him. ajs510 122
Please tell me how these were bad deals.Pretty much what Steve said, Jay hurt his team for the future but vastly improved his chances at a title this year, which was exactly what he was going for. You're playing for the future (the same as me) so you got what you were looking for out of the situation.Although to be honest I don't think much of Hedman as an elite offensive defenseman. Dubey 1,035
The Lethbridge Golden Seals have made another trade today. Acquiring some Defensive depth to make up for the loss of Paul Martin last week. Kimmo Timonen should become a mainstay in the Golden Seals starting Defensive Core, and management is looking for him to contribute significantly in the next two seasons.Lethbridge recieves:Kimmo Timonen ($1.25 $1.50)+ $1.25 in 2010 cap+ $1.50 in 2011 capWheat Ales acquire:Lethbridge 2011 2nd round pick
mrdannyg 274
Another solid deal. Maybe could've been closer to a 3rd-rounder instead of a 2nd, but that is being picky. Since your pick shouldn't be in the top-25, I like it!
Zach6668 513
Seems like a pretty fair trade, especially with Rich covering the cap.
Dubey 1,035
Lethbridge Completed a few minor trades today.1st:Lethbridge trades:$0.25 in 2011 capWheat Ales Trade:$0.25 in 2010 capThis gave me the flexibility to drop Reinprecht ($0.75) and afford to sign a free agent.Lethbridge Trades:$1.50 in 2011 capMoneyshots trade:$1 in 2010 CapCasey WellmanThis is basically a shot in the dark for Wellman. I had an extra roster spot and was considering trading $1 this year to Rich for $1 next year so I could fill that last roster spot with a FA. I floated this idea to Danny and he accepted. For me, it basically works out to Casey Wellman for $0.50 next year. A small price to pay for the small chance that he does something that will warrant an extension at the end of the year. Wild fans seem pretty high on this guy, and even if he never suits up a single game for the Golden Seals, it isn't a significant loss. It's been a pretty busy couple of days for the Golden Seals management, with Trade offers flying around. I have a lot to ponder right now.

The nice folks on HFboards all seem very high on him and the general consensus is that he will be back up at some point before the end of the season. People at HFboards are never wrong, man. Dubey 1,035
After an 0-2 start to the season, the Seals' forwards have started firing on all cylinders and have powered us to a 3-game winning streak and a 3-2 record. Despite Injuries to Johan Franzen and Mike green, the Seals will look to continue their winning streak tonight against The halifax Moneyshots.
mrdannyg 274
Easy win tonight. The moneyshots have no one scoring, Anders Lindbeck in net (I don't think that is even close to his name), and multiple injuries.Plus...your team is better. Good luck!
Dubey 1,035
Breaking News:Monday, October 18th, 2010Lethbridge, ABThe Lethbridge Golden Seals of the FCHL have traded star forward Johan Franzen to the Royal Oak Fearsome Beavers. In return, they recieve Prospect Kyle beach, as well as the Beavers' 1st round pick in 2011 and 4th round pick in 2012. When reached for comment early this morning, Seals owner Dubey had this to say: "Kyle Beach is a guy I have been scouting since before I even had a team to scout him for. Hmm, I guess that sounds kind of creepy doesn't it." When asked why he would trade one of his top forwards in a season where he is expected to compete for a championship, Dubey just whimpered and hung up the phone. Johan Franzen is signed for 2 more seasons after this one, and comes at a bargain cap hit of $0.25.
