Sustainable Winrates In Micros

Recommended Posts

haha, just people bragging about these small wins probably over 1 million hands is funny. Why waste your time. I know a lot of people bragging about taking 500 of stars after playing like 500,000 hands of 5c/10c. Wonder what that pays you an hour. probably one dollar an hour or sumtin.I have more respect for some one that made the 500 in a day playin 5$/10$ over 100 hands
reading back over my posts maybe im being a bit harsh. Everyone can do thier own thing. Didnt mean to sound like a twat
reading back over my posts maybe im being a bit harsh. Everyone can do thier own thing. Didnt mean to sound like a twatyou guys ever try to move up the stakes when your bankroll lets you?
hahaha, your dead right I dont understand why these players dont move up a level and try to improve instead of sticking at these stakes. Even if they won the lotto for 1000000000 they'd probably still play at these stakes :club:
Why you have to hate brah? I'm doing my best to try and earn a living at this game. Just because my winrate is sooooo awesome, shouldn't that mean I am better than most people?

Wow Jeff, I knew you were a good player after talking to you on Aim, but I never knew you crushed this hard..I will ship some hands when I get internet in new appartment, really keen on learning to play .01/.02. The playes usually play every ragg hand and crack my aces which lead to me being a loser player there. Just moved to 200 NL where they respect my raises, played over 100 hands and I have confirmed that I'm a winning player, but if you can make me a winner at 2NL i'll go there to reduce variance.Keep crushing bro
What? My coaching isn't good enough for you now? </3

Thanks man. I think I'm going to offer coaching soon but the number one thing is you really have to get good at clicking buttons. If you can't click good, your winrate won't be nearly as high.

All 2NL:donewith2nl.jpg
Have you actually played with this guy before?? I ran across him several times. He was doing some kind of micro stake side bet. He was playing .25NL 20-50BB, and was playing 12 tables. He would play 8-10+ hour sessions, because he would be on the table when I went to bed, and was still there the next morning. He would only play the premium hands, so you knew what he had, but I guess there are alot of people that do not pay attention, and think there A10 off is good. Also, while we are on the subject, I've always wondered at these stakes there are some chinese/russian human bot companies that are here almost 24/7. They multitable a shit-load and only move is all-in for $5 PF. They always have AA KK AK, and if you get lucky sometimes they may have QQ or JJ or any other PP, but it is rare. Then if they double up, they leave and start at another table for $5 all over again. It drives me nuts becasue sometimes you may end up at a full ring table, and 4 of them are these types of players, so basically you are playing 5-6 handed, and they just kill the table action. Is this really profitable long term?

I had 11 outs and you only had 6 so I was ahead. Some people play so horrible.

Alright, to start things off I'll post some questions regarding hands which I'm unsure about.feral_cow_icon.gifv1.24Converted by the cows of Feral Cow PokerPokerStars Pot Limit Omaha $0.01/$0.02 - 6 playersCO Brittje01: $0.96 Button Hero: $5.00 SB hurnz2: $5.87 BB Iluminat_ooF: $7.17 UTG ogor: $1.14 UTG+1 29_Smithy: $0.62 Preflop: ($0.03) Hero is Button with :3h: :5c: :club:: :qh: (6 players)ogor calls $0.02, 29_Smithy calls $0.02, Brittje01 calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.13, 3 folds, 29_Smithy calls $0.11, Brittje01 calls $0.11Flop: ($0.44) :4h: :jh: :ts: (3 players)29_Smithy checks, Brittje01 checks, Hero bets $0.42, 2 foldsHero collected $0.42(Rake: $0.02)So I'll start by posting my thought process. Table is loose, I've seen a lot of spewy calls with meh hands. After having two pretty big coolers recently, running top pair into trips and two pair into flush. The table obviously put me on tilt, so when I look down on trup QQ I know that there could be a big pot brewing. I decide to max the pot hoping for at least one player to bet into me. So far I'm confident with my play, but when I flop a full house, should I begin to slow down? I know people are calling wide here, but should I, instead of c-betting, check and hope someone will bet into me with KK? I am pretty sure there were a few morons on that table capable of doing that. Thoughts?

I think you played that great tbh. Trup preflop is basically the nuts, so once you flop the boat, start clicking. Also, the last time I had trips pre, I won a tshirt on ftp.VNH! and well done.
See jeff, I think my problem here is that Ill always slowplay the flopped full house. Am I giving away equity here? THe other thing I've come across is computer glitches. THere was one time in a hand like this some other guy had two pair aces and sevens, compared to my queens full. But it gave him the pot? I emailed support...they responded but I was like blah blah blah whatever, I don't even know what crap they were talking about. How do you deal with system glitches as well?Sorry if these are too many questions, I don't want to overstep boundaries, but would love to learn more to be successful at micros long term from the best. TY

This actually sounds like a legal issue, and if you get a good lawyer, I think you have a solid case. It might need to go as far as the Supreme Court, but I'm pretty sure you can win this thing.

OK, I am the live PLO pro here....I crush the 1/2cent games at my local casino and sometimes even jump into the hard hard 2/5cent games. Let me start by saying you played this hand absolutely terrible. The first thing you did wrong was raise preflop. You have the 14th best hand preflop (since no one can have 8888 or QQQQ) ...you should be aiming to trap you opponent. Most donkeys in the small and big blind will raise when they see everyone limp so you should be setting yourself up for that. Once the SB donk or BB fish raises...then you can POP them and just get it in and hope they dont have KKKx or 3333 which obv would be a massive cooler. As played, on this flop you should definitely check raise because donkeys always thinkg their Q983 is good on this flop and will check/shove almost always. I know from experience. You need to get some lessons...maybe Outsider13 and I can give you joint lessons on crushing all the micro games sometime.

Also, if anyone runs across this donkey player Blue Baboon...please harass them at the table. I encountered him doing silly things and wrote pokerstars an email accordingly.

Hello pokerstars support. I have an issue with one of your "players." HIs/her name is Blue Baboon. My request to you is that you change their name to Bingo Baboon as they have done nothing but luckyluck their way around tourneys. I saw them make an all in wager with an ACE and a NINE and ran into ACE and a TEN but that BINGO BABOON got lucky and caught a nine to win the pot.I think BINGO BABOON should be their new screen name and I would like to start a petition to get it changed. Can you help me out?!Sincerely, Adam
