JoeyJoJo 18
Balloon lands and the boy is not inside. This is probably not good news. The only reason they thought the boy was inside is because a sibling (how old?) said he was.Could be an epic prank.
Randy Reed 0
It was the strangest thing I ever watched as it was going on. They should ground the kidfor not being in the damn thing.

bdc30 0
Turn on Fox news right now. There's a 6 year old boy trapped in a giant, UFO shaped, mylar balloon flying over Colorado.Wow, I turned on fox there for a second. They're blaming it all on Barack Obama's healthcare plan. Mercury69 3
Nah, apparently he might have fallen out and died. If he did then you can blame that on the news.Nobody knows what happened and all this speculation is not news, it's a bunch of BS they use to fill up time. Regardless of what happened to the boy (if there was one and he did go up and then something happened, it is a tragedy and I hope the kid is OK), this whole story epitomizes what is wrong with news broadcasting today. Since when is an unsubstantiated story of a boy in a runaway balloon the most important thing that happened in the past 3 or 4 hours in the USA? I'll bet drunk drivers or irresponsible weapon use created more havoc and bloodshed than this.

Randy Reed 0
Gotta say, watching is live before you knew was pretty riveting. I can't remember the last time I saw a 20ft mylar balloon thousands of feet in the air with a 6 year old supposedly in it. You realize that thereis pretty much nothing they can do. If the helicopters got over top of it, it would likely lead to disaster. It was too slow for airplanes and too late for a rescue balloon if there even is such a thing.Yeah, it ended in an epic letdown being empty but it had it's moments for a while. It does make you wonder now that it's hours later where he is though. Did he fall? He was going 25 mph and in the air for a couple hours so who knows? Maybe he's playing in a treehouse down the street?

Randy Reed 0
HAHAHA, HE'S IN SOOO MUCH TROUBLE!FORT COLLINS, Colo. – A 6-year-old Colorado boy feared to have floated off in a helium balloon has been found safe at his home, hiding in a cardboard box in the garage attic. Sheriff Jim Alderman turned to reporters during a news conference and held thumbs up and said, "He's at the house." Alderden said an investigator on the scene saw the boy and he was fine.He said the boy apparently has been in the attic the whole time. The boy's brother had said he saw 6-year-old Falcon Heene get in the balloon before it took off. The flight last two hours and spanned 50 miles and set off a frantic search.
