Or is it? What is a 'word'? Like a fact, I believe the word 'word' can be interpreted in a more abstract sense. A word is a composition of letters with an understood meaning, is it not? And I doubt anyone who is familiar with the word "schadenfreude" would be unable to understand what you meant by "schadenfreudenous". Therefore, it is an actual word. It may not be an official word, it may not be present in the dictionary, but it is a word that many people will understand.

I spelt it wrong, but I meant the same thing. It is still obvious what you meant. 'Schadenfreudenous' can be easily understood as a descriptive form of 'schadenfreude', just as 'schadenfreudeness' could too. I don't see why you feel there is a difference - as I see it, the meaning is clear.
