Guest
2-5 $200 buy-in at The Bellagio. I get my stack up to abit over $500. I have QQ on the button. A guy raises to $15, a caller, and I pop it up to $50. A call and a fold. Flop is 332, two diamonds. He bets $50, I make it $200. He calls. He checks the non 9 diamond turn and I go in for about $250. He calls with pocket 66. The 8 river gave me a pot that was about $1050.

PhishForChips 0
Small pairs that hit a set on the flop and quad up on the turn or river are usually big hands. Your opponent typically will make a full house with your quads on the board and will be hard pressed to lay down to any bet. Small pairs that set on the flop are big against overpairs. crocd99 0
the hand that won me the most money in one hand was 2 3 four people in the pot on the button... i have won many large pots with this hand... i dont play it a lot but if you make a hand with this no one see it comingjust wanted to mention this hand specific hand with two there though... wasnt the most i have won in a pot with it but i liked it....was at AC and had this hand in the sb with the 23... really arrogant guy in the bb... just us two in the hand.... this guy was always bluffing but had a pretty big stack at this time. flop comes i get a pair of twos and this guy just start over betting the pot.... end up down to the river and he moves all in.... for about 200... i had a very good read on him and i knew he had nothing.... called yes with bottom par and my kicker was the board..... took down close to a 600 pot with it...guy almost lost it.... he got so made the dealer had to ask for security it was great... walktheplank69 0
$2092! I don't play much No Limit outside of the tournies, but I had the nut flush (AK) and almost everyone at the table went all in to a Jd 8d 8c board.I'm getting 8-1 (slighly less) on my money so I gamble. I did this because the guy who was acting most like he had two Js in the hole only had $50 in front of him, so I could come second and still do very nicely.Anyway, turn comes A, river comes A and I scooped the lot. The guy with the $50 showed two Js and the other cards shown were 10 9 off (Straight draw) 2 9 diamonds (Piss poor flush Draw) and a pair of Qs)Never liked the way I played the hand, but it paid for an Island hopping holiday around Greece. NDIrishdogg 0
Pocket sevens. In the cutoff shorthanded, I banged it for three times the big blind. Button cold called, big blind called. Flop came As7d7s. Big blind bets the pot. I call hoping to keep the button in the hand for another round. Thankfully the button calls. Turn brings a 9s. Big blind bets out the pot again which was about half of his stack. I decide another call is in order thinking that maybe the button was drawing to the flush. Sure enough, the button player raises all-in (he was the shortest stacked of the three of us). Big blind re-raises all in. I had him covered (though just barely). I call with a big smile on my face. Big blind flips over pocket aces for aces full of sevens, I show my quads, and the button flips over KQ of spades for the nut flush. River was a blank and I laughed all the way to the bank. What a dream hand.
GoldenDonkey 0
The largest hand I ever played was fun to say the least! In a cash game i had 200$, i called pf with my 44 and one guy raises to 20, there are4 callers and so i decide to gamble. The flop comes 4 k 7 and i bet 50$, they all fold except for one guy who shoves into me, i call and he shows aces. The turn and the river are blanks and the guy insults me a lot, quite a bitter man. I win a massive pot and got off the table as quick as i could!!!!!!!jonnyhttp://shadesandbills.blogspot.com/
Kevin Garceau 0
6 2 off suit... although it was a tourney ending hand so may not count. But it did pay me $1000.00Flop 6 2, turn a 2, other fella moves all in. Pretty nice BB special, but I had him dominated anyways at that point. Was a matter of time.
dmuoio 0
For any idiot that thinks that the are "WAY AHEAD" with a straight flush draw is a complete moron and I want him/her to come and play in my game. We have a nickname for players like you "BROKE". You didn't have a pair all you had was a draw. Good luck trying to win in the future calling off your enitre stack with a draw. Nice read. Â We have a nickname for players like you "BROKE". Â You didn't have a pair all you had was a draw. Â Good luck trying to win in the future calling off your enitre stack with a draw. Â Nice read.against 2 players you are the clear favorite (unless one has a set, then you are still tied with him in terms of % to win)maybe you just have a problem with the terminology. but of course what everyone is refering to is 'who is the favorite to win this hand'so what you got a 7 high? but if you run that hand 300 times you're going to show a profit.and in a cash game against 2 players...i make this call sunday-saturday. we have a nickname for guys like you at our home games too...they're called cocksuckers
PestoSauce 0
I had A-10 hearts, limp in with several callers. Flop 2 hearts, someone bet 15 and I call with 3 others. The turn is a heart (no straight flushes possible). I check raise the original bettor (who is the chip leader with about $800 behind him) all-in and he IMMEDIATELY calls. He had 9-4 hearts. I had 350 behind me and doubled up. It was pretty sweet.
dmoneypoker 0
in a cash game 5-5 won me $800 when i flopped a set vs AK... A K 5 flop. PRESTOOOOOOOOOOO.In a casino tournament i won $6000. The hand i busted my opponent with was a-10 to his k-9... so 5-5 in a cash game but the a-10 brought the tournament home to me.
MRPICKLES 0
I have won a few "big" pots off of pocket tens. The absolute best was about 3 months ago in a limit game....Flop comes A , 10 , 9 .... Four players, betting caps, and I did not even have to do any of the raising.....Turn Comes K Yet again a Bet, raise, re-raise, cap.River = Blank Betting caped once again. I am worried about pocket A's or K's, but figured there would have been more betting preflop. Either way I can not make that lay down, pot odds alone dictate a call!!!Show down with 4 players. AK vs AK vs 99 vs 1010Got lucky to get the action and the flop that I did, but I won't turn it down.
