I was playing some 60/120 at commence casino and saw so many so called top pro's.. Who i was not even interested of meeting one bit. But i did see Daniel N walking around with his buddies john junanda (sp) and some other will known pro. Now i wont call my self a fan of Daniel N. but i do respect his play and wanted to see how he was like in person.a hr pass and i wait till the Big blind get's to me and then i head off to the bathroom. while walking to the restroom i notice Daniel walking towards me. AM like great here's my chance to say hi.. as am walking towards him i make eye contact and say "hey daniel how have you been?" he smiles and gives me a wink and continues to walk pass me.. am like wtf? does he think his to good to talk to me? I've been a member of fcp since the good old pokermountain days.. i actually prop for his website for a few months. am not saying that am angry with daniel at all. i just expected more out of him tho.. I should feel honored that danny D acknowledged me? are you guys freaking serious!? you guys definitely are putting dan in a pedestal. I wasn't expecting a long conversation or a autograph (why people ask for autographs is still unknown to me) just more of a quick chet chat. for the record i dont think dan is a bad guy. am sure his get's approach by numerous people every time he goes to the casino. am just saying that i expected more out of him.. i guess reading his blogs for the past couple of years i felt like i knew him to a extent.p.s excuse me that English is my second language

I sometimes wish I was just a douchebag that wouldn't mind ignoring acquaintances, but I'm not and I actually like most of the people I talk to, I just hate talking about pointless things every time I go to the commerce giftshop for a bottle of water. I can't even imagine what Daniel has to go through

If you'd said, "Hey Daniel, I belong to FCP for a while. How's it going?", he might have stopped and chit chatted with you then. But as it was, you were a stranger that said, "hi". And he was with a good friend who he hadn't seen for a while. If you were him which one would you be inclined to chat with? Give the guy a freakin' break!

Hey Joel. If you're ever telling someone that you went to this casino, make sure that you say "Commerce" and not "Commence" so you don't sound like, you know...And, from what I understand, if you want to meet someone in the Men's Room, you're supposed to put your hand under the wall of the stall.

All I can think of is Larry David in CYE. He hates the "Stop & Chats" also. In all fairness to Daniel, everytime I see him he is either talking, signing autos & even leaving his seat in a tourney to take pics with fans. There is not enough time in the day during a poker tourney to talk to every fan.

It's not what he did....it's what he DIDN'T DO! (remember that guy? lol!)Funny thing is I was in the room at that same moment. I took a break from getting ass raped in my own cash game and had come over to talk to my buddy Mark (NoSup4U), who was playing the 10/20. The room was just packed, and many many known pros were playing. It was a mad house. And then down walks DN, John J and Alan Cunningham (btw, how could you not know who Alan was!) anyway...they are obviously busy catching up with each other, looking tired from a day in the tourney, looking like they were just ready to call it a day and go chill. Marks table had just opened a seat and we thought it would be funny to yell over and tell him "seat open", so I did...sort of...but he was having a conversation and clearly didn't hear me, so we left it at that. In hindsight I was glad since it probably wasn't the best time to interupt, but I guarantee you he would have given you a little more if you had simply said you were FCP.
