  1. I think he will play tight compared to the rest of the table, but he won't be like David Grey or Cory Zideman.
  2. Tigers sucked for the last ten+ years. Are up 5-0 against Oakland vs. Zito.
  3. I have noticed the compete suckage of the forums lately, included some pointless posts in the Strat forums from some new posters.
  4. If you don't have an account on Pinnacle Sports, go there now and bet on the # of entrants in the 2007 Main Event.Under 7650 is -123. Easy $. Thank me in a year.
  5. AQs for PrtyP vs 8's all-in pre-flop, they flop a set.GG.
  6. Nice fold in the SB when the other player has Aces.GL!
  7. Party HU with very slight chip lead, 66K to 61K.400-800 blinds. Tons of play. A non-crapshoot heads-up.
  8. Hate your ***** bet on the river. Also agree with Actuary with checking on turn when you miss again.
  9. I like most everything, but I would consider just calling if their are 3 or more limpers, more so if I am in the SB or BB because I will be out of position the entire hand.I also might fold with A-Qos if their is a raise in EP and you are also in EP, or in the SB or BB. Just try to play small pots in position with this hand.Have no problems with your post-flop plays. Also, is this Full Ring or 6-Max?
  10. Razz: 7-card Stud variation. Lowest hand wins, flushes and straights do not count against you. Best possible hand is 5-4-3-2-A.If you have 3 cards below an 8, play the hand. 8-7-6 to open up is worse than 8-3-A. You upcard matters a lot. If you have a (9-6) 2, you have an OK hand, but having the 2 up is very powerful if it is the lowest card showing. 7-5-4-3-2 is better than 7-6-3-2-A. Stud 8/b: 7-card stud. Half-pot goes to high hand, half to low hand that is an 8 or below. Best low hand is 5-4-3-2-A. From Phil Hellmuth's Book, Play Poker Like the Pros:The Premium Starting Hands in Stud 8/b:1
  11. I like how you can bet against certain players/teams for winning events. For example, right now you can bet against the Twins winning their division series against Oakland. Also, most of the lines are better than the sportsbook.
  12. You can raise more than 3X the BB. I make it 120 pre-flop.As for the turn play, I like the all-in bet bets. 1/2 pot is too small, and you trap yourself if you make a pot-sized raise and someone re-raises you. If someone flopped a set you go broke in this hand. And 8-7 would not have called your flop raise unless they had 87 of spades.
  13. Saying that option #3 is not viable is a joke. I think #1 is a huge mistake with a non-scare turn with the 5. Only hands that have you beat on flop is pocket 10's, pocket Jacks, KQ, Q8, and 87. IMO, re-raise after MP2 makes it 75. if they have you beat, you just got unlucky. You river play is horrible. Because of the size of the pot, and that you say this player showed a bluff, you have to call. Lastly, why would the other player bet the same amount on the turn and river?
  14. What the hell are you complaining about? You lost a 55-45 race, and a 70-30 pot.And you only lost $4. DEAL WITH IT!!!And don't play tournmanents.
  15. You didn't miss the flop. Had flush draw with overpair. Much harder if you didn't have flush draw.
  16. You have to think that a majority of the time for a fold to be correct.
  17. When I signed up for Neteller, I don't remember them asking for my birthdate. Also, what did you first deposit with? If it was Neteller, you should be fine. If not, Party might want you to withdraw the way you deposited. But they have never asked to verify my ID.
  18. Studies have shown that people with a higher education recieve more wages er their lifetime. While in the shorterm it might be a waste of $, you will get it back over time.
  19. 1. Most people will say not to play poker for a living.2. What do you think your teachers will think about this?3. Go to college.
  20. Winner!I was so sick when he bet out, I even typed in the chat "set of 4's,", before I pushed and they insta-called. Had a gut feeling I was beat, but pushed anyway.Got all the $ back 5 hands later against another player when they pushed all-in on the river with a flop of K-7-10-3-A. They pushed the river with pocket 8's, I had pocket A's.
