  1. Worst case scenario I think here you're drawing to 4 outs (you push, the two already in the pot call, against top set and 2 FDs). You're looking at risking 14.31 to win about 36, so 2.6-1 on your money if this is the way it plays out. Best case leaves you 11 outs. (8 spades, 3 other 3s) Not clear cut, in my mind. You're only invested for .25, so letting this go isn't horrible. If this were O/8, of course, it's an autoshove.
  2. I stopped reading right about there.
  3. I like it, top to bottom. My read would be him chasing you down with top set. Probably the only thing that just calls the flop. Maybe Q x , but I dunno.
  4. You've got 12 nut outs, getting 4-1. Call, reevaluate on the turn.
  5. It never once went through your mind you might be beat, did it.
  6. I can see SB having T9h here, or something similar. Button doesn't worry me much, I'd say something KQ here. Once you missed the bet on the turn, I'd probably b/c the river.
  7. Re-Raise. He's probably raising with AKQJ ns, you have the best hand.As if I need to, sw.
  8. Well, crap. And here I thought I was special. At least I'm more special thn Suited_Up.
  9. Huh. Usually the GGW commercials inspire more of a good "beat" when I watch them. Strange.
  10. Sweet I think I have the lowest user number here. Good to see all of you folks.I was a big contributor to the Sik thread. I still believe in it's mystical powers... just not quite as rabidly, maybe. (Forgive me, Sikulu) It's funny, I was just posting in bad beats a couple days ago with Swift_Psycho that we needed an old timers reunion. XXX_Eddie is still around over there, too.
  11. Psst... dude... already 3 crubs out there. He done fropped it.
  12. OMG, you gots beated? OMGWTFBBQ???111!!!!1!11eleven!
  13. I pulled back-to-back quads a few weeks ago in limit. I have the HHs somewhere. 5 hands later I hit a SF.Ah, found em. 14. I agree on the PL to limit profitability. I just feel more comfortable playing limit. I'll play hi/lo some, but it seems to have me mastered
  15. I could see QTo calling here, QJ 1 club, gutshots if they're loose, KJ certainly at least calls here. Ax may even pay you off.
  16. Almost table dependant. I think if you feel you'll get a caller or two, go ahead and lead it. I've found that the very simple advice, "People LOVE to call", works pretty well.
  17. Omaha hi... I'm too stooooopid for hi/lo. limit omaha hi is my ring game of choice now.
  18. It is a close call, I suppose. I'm just of the opinion that multi handed in PLO is a tough situation when all you have is a draw. You did have TP, but you know with this much action it's crud. If you were up agianst a set and someone playing x256, you were calling off on the chance to split. Results worked out nicely, but I probably would have gotten rid of it.
  19. btw: button overbet on the pot on his all in. He should have had 10 left.but still... let this go. 8 outs + 2 bd fds vs their combined redraws ain't the greatest spot to be in.
  20. No, I'm not around as much. I post mostly at totalbluff.com anymore. I still check in here and in omaha poker every now and again.
  21. Obviously, I'm here as much as you. Thanks, you've got quite the penguin there.I see Eddie is still around here fighting the good fight. We need to have an old timers reunion or something.
  22. Man, I wish Swift_Psycho would visit here occasionally and contribute. I miss him.
  23. For me, it satisfies my fishy urges. When I'm in the mood to chase down every backdoor draw I have, I'll play limit omaha. It also help to desensitize you to outdraws.Seriously, though, it's just a change-up. That and average pots regularly of 13 BB never hurts, either.
  24. Why would a set of tens just call your gaybet on the turn? I'm thinking more 10-7 here, I probably call on hand 2.Hand 1, muck it without ironclad reads on everyone else in the hand, and the ability to fold on a 2966A board.
