  1. Do your homework, read everything you can till you go on:www.allvegaspoker.comI played 7 sessions of 1-2 NL and 1 session of 2/5.At the 1-2 Level I seriously thought "are these people allergic to money?? they are giving it away." I played ABC TAG poker and got paid well on nearly every hand. Did very well for the trip.
  2. check out www.allvegaspoker.com
  3. AND it sure does suck balls.IT's terrible. they are going backwards with their software. Instead of "tweaking" it and making it better, they revamped as some kids high school senior webdesign project.Heated discussions going on over at http://www.pocketfives.com/3CF89946-F391-4...178DB94081.aspx
  4. I know it was posted earlier but check out,www.allvegaspoker.com Read it nonstop, click on the different room reviews and trip reports and make yourself list of places to play.It helped me out a TON on my first trip to play cards there that's for sure.
  5. LMAO! Great response. Don't forget about the only slightly post-pubescent airhead mod in hick town, cheeseland!and people on other sites wonder why there aren't that many respectable poster when this site for the most part are the same post high school limit dorks running around trashing anyone new who posts on the site or don't agree with them.classic.nice last two posts.
  6. Bodog bonus is pretty easy to clear.Lots of gamblers on that site as well since the majority of their action is generated from the sports book. They are either from the sportsbook or they come from the "next generation" of poker player wannabes after watching the commercials on tv.
  7. One of the answers is "it depends" and this is especially true in NL vs Limit.NL is more of a 3d situation where limit is more 2d.I am a NL player that plays live alot and it is not nearly the same switchover $1 to $1, from Live to Online. Alot of your reads emotions are lost from the Live to Online BUT it is easier to track hands played and betting patterns online.
  8. Ronnne,That's is the funniest post I have read in a long time! Foking hilarious. You need to stake the donkey once a week and give a full debriefing to us.....
  9. Thanks for posting a mini update and replying to my question.Good luck to you and please keep us posted on how it turns out etc.
  10. Roll the money up and stick it in your pocket, not in your wallet.Doubt you will get mugged for $100.Back in August we were at Tunica watching a huge PL Omaha cash game.As the game was breaking, guys were stuffing their cash rolls into their pockets. One guy ran out of pocket space. We counted up he had about $65,000 on him. Tex Barch was playing in this game too. He had several bricks of cash, stuffed them in a bag and walked out.All the players just strolled out onto the gaming floor and nobody noticed they each were carrying $50k+ on them.
  11. Could you elaborate on this portion more please? "personal expenditures" part.....Did they audit your checking account or something? At what point did in the tax portion did they have to match up your personal accounting stuff vs business? Thanks.
  12. I'm not surprised that you're too fucking stupid to realize that IQ doesn't matter.Did I hurt your boyfriends feeling or are you his mom?Never seen a man with no emotional interest take up for someone else on the INTERNET.Aww, a sexuality joke. I've never heard those before. (sw) Actually, those are usually the last resort of a child that has no way to backup his statement.Unforutnately, I've seen stupid, ignorant morons flame people with problems before. Why not just admit you're an idiot, and move on?lmfao. classic. You still didn't answer my question and I don't have time to play kid.

  14. I am impressed that you are smart enough to go to law school but too stupid to control your own actions?
  15. hang in there. You'll get better. What site are you playing and whats your Screename?
  16. Great story.Any other stories of other hands or things you want to post, bring it on.Did you straight buy in the tournament or did you satalite in?
  17. During lunch today I played in the stars NL freeroll. I only had about 30 minutes to kill so I decided to play the position/maniac roll. Was amazing was after a while how often i would get a call with mediocre cards becasue they got tired of my raising. My stack was WAAY up then waaay down back and forth. it was pretty fun testing how much you could get away with.
  18. see that is just brutal, the key to NL is to see your draws as cheap as you can, then try to bet accordingly to pot/players AFTER you've made your hand. the way you're saying this, is that you wanted more money in the pot while you were losing...and then after you hit one of your 10 outs, you were only going to get another 35 bucks!I know!! How foked up was that!!!??? No where else in my trip report do I resort to inverted tactics to try and be profitable. Just one of those situations.
  19. Excellent points.Yes, you are totally correct about in an ideal situation and normally I would have played it close to what you describe BUT there were some intagibles that I was observing while sitting at the table. At this table, the largest pot won for a while was like $12. Any bet, everyone folds. Breath at the cards, they fold. Make any moves, they fold. There was no "getting all the money in with the best hand at this table." This was the norm for an hour, then it was like all hell broke loose and they couldnt give their money away quick enough sometimes.YES normally i would have called t
  20. I hear ya on writing everying out.Over on pocketfives.com there have been several posts regarding "play as if you were writing a book" or "play from the rail" type of things. Good reads and a huge confidence boosterI am a huge believer of black and white writing out the experiences exactly as they happen. Sometime it exposes flaws and reinforces good things that come even if profit is negative or positive. How long have you been playing? How long did it take to build the roll?I am primarily a $2-$5NL live player trying to build it up to make the jump up one notch Feel free to IM instead of post
  21. I know you have good intentions but typically if you want to give constructive criticism (like I am doing to you now), you might want to work on your wording. A better approach would be, "do you think you played this hand correctly? I might have a different ideas" OR "Do you want to hear about possible flaws in your play?" This opens the door for ideas and criticism instead of someone putting up the immediate defensive barriers and the other person being a jerk. Are you open minded to hearing my thinking at the time and what mistakes i KNEW I made during the hand and how I knew I had commited m
  22. Good post and nice write up.Sounds like you played solid when you had to. Don't worry about the internet 1/2 limit donkeys giving you a hard time.
  23. www.allvegaspoker.com, has added a list of poker tournaments.
  24. So true....place is nice, good rooms/cheap......poker room is rather small, but extremely soft, and the wait staff blowsI am not sure about what you are looking for in a waitstaff but at Ballys, the Bar is literally 15' from the tables. Granted, Grandma in her terrible outfit was bringing drinks and REDBULL as fast as she could push her walker 15'. I don't give a fok what she looks like, i just want the drinks free and fast.Only way it could have been better if the toursists had more money than they did.Very few wannabes at this place, lots of tourists.MGM, tourists AND wannabes. Just a matte
