  1. sirch, you owe me 45-60 seconds of my life back for wasting my time. Go ahead and transfer some of your girlfriends winnings to Vonteego3 on Party, and we'll be all square. Thanks!
  2. I should mention I do play ace anything suited if I can limp but have to control myself and be able to fold if an ace hits the board.playing "any ace," even if you can get in cheaply, is still not the best idea. What are you going to do with an A-6 with an ace on the board?? Either you will win a small pot b/c noone else has an ace, or you will lose a bigger pot b/c your kicker is no good. Basically, unless you hit two pair, you are at a disadvantage with this hand. Fold A-6 offsuitwho said anything about playing "any ace"?
  3. I thought this was gonna be another "OMG I just lost 11 brazillion dollars at the casino, and my life isn't worth it anymore so I'm gonna take it back and kill myself" threadIs it wrong that I'm disappointed?
  4. I think it's awesome that getarealjob said this.
  5. I joined before you, but I'm a "noob"... don't tell me you don't see the difference between these 2 things.1) I came up with these 10 reasons...2) I found this in _________, here's what this guy said: I came up with these 10 reasons...#1 looks like I wrote it, #2 looks like I'm sharing something I found elsewhere. I don't care where he got it from, personally... but the point is, the way he posted it, it looks as if he's claiming the ideas as his own.So... shut the fuck up, NOOB
  6. hey you're right, he didn't try to claim it as his own.
  7. lol... the kid won't quit.http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthre...=5&o=14&fpart=1
  8. change them to 52, 51, and 50, right?
  9. my gut told me that he had more than a draw... I had seen him more than once call an all-in with a flush draw on the turn, but everytime was after he had checked... and he caught it every time, too. I asked him if top pair was good.. he seemed to relax, and casually asked "how about a flush draw?"I laid it down, he didn't show... so, I don't know for sure if it was the right play, but I'm pretty sure it was.(This part is completely irrelevant to the discussion, I know) I went on to win the tournament a few hands later when I went over the top of his min-raise with AJ, he called with 22, flopp
  10. I thought putting "heads up" in the title of the thread would be sufficient to cover this... I'll be more specific in the future... something like "folded around to me in the SB because everyone else is already out" should work, I guess.
  11. He's played in Germany the last few years, the Blues signed up after the World Cup (I think?) where he helped Team USA win the bronze in a shootout. He's not the greatest defensively, pretty much an offense-minded dman and shootout specialist (if the Blues can learn to play D as a team and stop hanging Lalime out to dry).hey, thanks for the echo!
  12. just my 2 cents... if you're in a multi-way pot at this level, guaranteed that someone has an A... they wouldn't have folded to a cap preflop, and they PROBABLY wouldn't have folded a gutshot draw on the flop... I don't see a problem with how you played it, although I think I'd have called just to see how I was beat by A4o so I could proceed to go on tilt for a little while, or break my spacebar (again).
  13. lol December 2nd... I could register for a tournament tomorrow and forget about it, you think I'm gonna remember in 6 weeks?
  14. My first post in strategy... been reading it religiously for a few months.Live home game tournament, $10 buy-in 9 man tournament with 1 $5 rebuy... very relaxed, friendly game (although the Villian in this hand is a real prick)Villian is very loose preflop, will call down with any piece of the board, (from my read) only gets aggressive when he has a big piece.Blinds at 200/400Hero has ~ 13000Villian has ~11000Hero is SB with K 8 Hero raises to 1200, Villian calls.Flop: K 4 2 Hero bets 1200, Villian callsTurn: 5 Hero bets 1600, Villian raises all in, Hero...?

  22. Roach has always played overseas... if the name seems vaguely familiar to anyone, it's because he was a "shootout specialist" in the 2004 World Championships, helping the US to a bronze... he scored on pretty much every shootout attempt he had. I don't remember specific details, but... that's who he is. Hockeydb.com if you wanna check out his overseas stats.
