  1. your absolutely right, it was getting late and the liquer was flowing, I stand by my original assessment ;p
  2. I have an awful time with it too... Generally i'm strating to consider it a resteal hand or a fold. I assume you mean after a raise, else its a open raise or fold hand. But generally it depends on my opponents ranges of hands. If i feal hes raising with weak hands, even weaker aces i can knock him off, I'll 3 bet, If theres a raise and calls I either fold or call, depending how I feal i'm likelly to fair in that situation. IMO KQo is probably the hardest hand to play after a raise, so even if i'm a little behind, if I decide to play it, i feal its important to raise and take the lead in the
  3. Thats your first mistake. Its simply not necesary and unprofitable. If your playing EP raise, always. If you don't have a hand your comfortable raising with, well don't play it. If the table is being overly cautious of your UTG raises, then maybe, toss in a raise with a hand like this. Thats a very special situation and not very likelly.I agree with this. It's simply not necessary at a lower limits. 5/10 may be where metagame stuff like this begins to come into play, but my guess is most of the table still doesn't notice it, and the ones who do will make money from you by 3-betting you,
  4. Well your confusing the way I play this if the flop is called and if I call the CR I think, but maybe not. For rest of this post I'm addressing only how I play assuming the flop got capped in this way, and specifically justifying the river RR. If hes Raising with J7 or K7 here I'll prob pay him off the extra 2 on the river, this is sufficiently unlikelly enough to justify paying it off, in return the profit when hes not. A7 is the most likelly of the hands you mentioned. A7 is an unlikelly hand for him to cap the flop with, extremely unlikelly actually. Going into only the reason of my op
  5. Your paying money for him to define his hand if you play it like that, sometimes your get burned but overall you'd rather get the extra money in on the expensive streets. Additionally it gives you an opratunity to slow down if a ten comes, thought may not choose to depending on opponent. Getting 3 bet on the turn is disasterous, its also very rare. His range of hands here is fairly well defined, and you are in good position verse most of them. Because I said I want to show this down, I do not mean I'm not interested in extracting the highest amount possible from this hand, I just mean th

  7. Call, no one ever got rich by making big lay downs in limit... Even is its very maginally -ev its not even bad for reducing variance.....
  8. I'm not sure what your question is here, but I have some general thoughts on the hand. On flop in a 10 handed game you really hurting yourselign 3 betting there unless you have a good read on your opponent. Your in position, call and reraise the turn. However, once he caps the flop, you should be concerned, JJ and KK are unlikelly, but could happen. The main hands your concerned with are 77 and KJ both are hands that would be commonly played the way he did. You should be commited to showing this hand down against average opponents, I assume you were. The turn is junk and you can call thr
  9. Pros always give advice like this, and none of them followed it ;pLifes a gamble folks. Businesses and individuals gamble all the time. You thinking about getting married? You weigh the likelly hood it working out and good things happening vs divorce. Thinking of taking a new job? same thing. Poker is no different. Now I'm not justifying totally gambling in a irresponsable way, however one should always look at the risk to reward ratio. If you play on say a 900bb roll vs a 300bb roll, you'll be playing approximately 1/3 the stakes. Pretend you make 3bb/h in the small game and 2bb/h in t
  10. On monday they sent my money. I had no contact with them after whats posted here and was not required to verify or anything. I got 100 for my troubles so is worthwhile to complain I guess. That was my first withdraw, will be interesting to see if this happens again.
  11. Heres email I recieved after posting on forum since you asked. Waiting for monday, happy with the response and the free $100 for my troubles and can understand how using a different email for them and neteller could cause a problem. Really not sure why that too so long to come up though.

  13. I have absolutely no problem verifying, and almost expect that. I want to make that point 100 percent clear. I am a charter member. On tuesday(iirc, maybe monday) I put a withdraw in for 3k. The website said for neteller withdraws you could expect 24 hours, maybe 24-48 not positive but think 24. Thursday night(approx 48 hours) I contacted live support about the status of my withdraw. I was told 'hi' by the customer support person. After that I proceeded to wait around 12 minutes with no response after I asked my question. After that I was told one moment while they checked into it. A few minut
  14. I'm going to make a seperate topic about this too because I'm really not happy about it. I have absolutely no problem verifying, and almost expect that. 15. I've been waiting on a cashout for a few days as well, talkign to live support now, if you can call it talking anyways. Timers on 12:45 and all i've gotten out of them is the 'Hello' line. Will repost if they tell me anything useful is up.
  16. Cap, a lot of the hands they have run into each other and your in an even better position.
  17. Three betting is a losing move here and your too strong to fold with 1 bet in.
  18. KJs is a hand that plays quite well multi-way. I don't really mind getting some overcallers when I raise with it. I think folding it is pretty much out of the question. If you raise you certainly don't mind over calls, that wasn't my point though. My point was in some situations if you can induce a lot of calls from a limp it may be worth it for equity reasons vs raising if you expect it to limit the field substancially. I agree that ushually this is a raising spot, just pointing out some thoughts on why one might fold/limp.My point on folding was that if your at a good agressive table its
  19. I think open raising or limping depends on the table. If its a tight table raise, if you can anticipate some overcalls a limp is certainly considerable. It also depends how agressive it is, if you can anticipate anyone playing to 3 bet to isolate you it changes things a lot. Folding on a very agressive table isn't bad either.I'd imagine you don't want to play this hand out of position to an agressive player(s).
  20. Little unsure on how to apply most of this to my poker game. Since you said you used it primarily in SH limit he would you mind posting an example hand and how using game theory you arrived at conclusions?
  21. Good article, looking forward to your future ones.
  22. Even if everyone else doesn't rebuy its a certainty stack sizes will go up, you should be prepared to have them covered the best you can. Rebuy at the start always. This is comparable to sitting at a nl table with out the maximum buyin, if your a good player its simply too likelly you will miss an opratunity to gain chips.
  23. The rake is the single largest reason to at least 3/6 as soon as you can. Many lower limit players who are losers would be winners at slightly higher stakes.
  24. I actually play better pretty drunk, its when I get past pretty drunk large amounts of money start missing....
