New Poster Here...came Out Of Lurkdom To Say...
MOMOwheeler replied to Peachyyy's topic in Politics, Economics and News
Daniel,I too rarely post here, though am a regular reader of the blog. I feel that I MUST say something here with regards to the conclusion of the Sept. 26th blog.Please-please-please do not stop giving your opinion on anything and everything! It's your blog, it's your opinion, it's your right to freely express yourself and as a loyal fan and admirer, I feel it's your duty to be open and honest. I am, like yourself, split right down the middle with regards to politics. I also believe that we are similar in that we both believe that nothing can change to our liking unless the issues and con -

I have the same issue. I LOVE to chip away but its time consuming and boring.Lately, I have been trying to annoy my opponents into making mistakes; ie: I now make the minimum raise (or 3xBB) from the button EVERYTIME. Eventually they will be so annoyed they will start pushing with mediocure stuff.

The OP inferred that he created this account just to make this post. Go get a cup of coffee. Try again.Sounds like a great cover to me.Does it take a friggin rocket scientist to realize that OP is really bored and wants to watch this topic blow up into a huge debate?I got 2-1 that says he's avid poster on these forums under a different name...... a mod can check this with a click of a button. -

Just because its "theoritically" possible doesnt mean it happened......... I'm calling his bluff; the story is total BS; especially for a first post  -
Your asking the impossible, sorry to say.To specifically comment on "betting patterns," you can attain information such as: Do they always make a probe/continuation bet after raising preflop? Do they always bet an uncontested pot on the button? Do they always raise UTG?Its much easier to to get a tell off someone and determine whether they hanve/dont have a hand rather than trying to assess exactly what cards they are holding. The only way to assess what cards they have (assuming you have no reads on them yet) is by playing the hand. Are they specifically trying to 'represent' a ceratin

If he knows how to unrestrict the access, then he knows how to get anything else; ie: download any poker software. If he's accessing your account then you should obviously change your password. You might also consider changing the emial PW thats linked to your account.Ultimately, your question is too vague. You cant stop him from playing poker; trying to do so will only fuel his determination and you'll end up running in circles. If poker is the "problem" then you need to let him play but under supervision. I would recommend setting aside 1 hour a night (example) for the both of you to pl

How do you play hitting a very small flush?

Board is 4 to a flush and you hold the sucker-end of it...... make the minimum bet and high-tail-it if/when he check-raises. -
I would not introduce my wife to poker.... I already introduced her to Pot and my wallet has regretted it everyday since

IMHO, poker has many levels... "gambling" is the lowest of them all and anyone who understands this point is beyond it.

Advantages Quicker and more accurate than a human dealer Cards cannot be marked or bent No tipping the dealer Chips can not be lost or stolenDisadvantages Its not a real deck; therefore A LOT of people will complain about it possibly being rigged (we see this now with online). There is no dealer to handle immediate disputes (ie: a verbal commitment) You lose the chance to pick up on "chip fumbling" tellsVerdict - I doubt we'll ever see the extinction of real cards and chips @ B&M... but the CPU table will be successful enough to warrant having them as an option.

1st of all, I'm quite sure that OP has never once inhaled, therefore making his point about DRIVING after inhaling (not even in DN's blog) even more of a mute point than it already is considering his ignorance regarding the subject matter..... thats my opinion; below are the facts: (btw, its expected as of 2005 that obesity will overtake tobacco) Causes of preventable deathWhen it comes to causes of preventable death, obesity commands the No. 2 slot - but in contrast to an earlier study, which had it poised to overtake tobacco related deaths as the leading cause, a new study shows that it ran -
