Scarcity

I have a question about gambling laws in NYS, which are probably similar to those of other states. There is a restaurant located in my town that hosts a 50-100+ buyin tournament every weekend. As far as I know, they dont have a license to host this game. They have allowed underaged players to play (17-20 y/o's). Now, say this game were to be raided by police. Could the underaged players get in trouble (i.e. arrested) for playing in the establishment, or only the people working there?

guess i'll try this again. I am going to make a bet w/ a friend that works like this: We each pick 5 different players (not random players- pros) who will be playing in the 2006 WSOP Main Event. These will be players whom we expect to do well in the ME. These players will each bust out of the tournament in a certain place(i.e. 237th place). Now, after the main event is over, we will add up the places that each of our picks finishes in. The sum of these numbers will be our score. Whoever's score is lower will win the bet. Who would be your 5 picks for this bet?

no, not the top 5 finishers. say you pick phil ivey, dnegs, doyle, matusow, and lindgren. the person youre betting against picks 5 different people. then say your picks finish 200th, 90th, 20th, 2000th, and 350th. you add up these numbers, and if they are lower than the sum of the other person's picks, then you win the bet.

i got into the 30k guaranteed on a 4.40 satellite ticket. I busted out, then the site froze up before the money. I read on this site that they refunded everyones buyin, but I haven't gotten a refund or anything yet. Anyone know how they pay back ppl who were in through a satellite? or if they do?
