Theraflu 1,035
Think Frankie got robbed this time? I agreed with the decision in the first bout...but Benson didn't do enough in the last three rounds to win two of those, IMO.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
I don't really agree with you on this one. I think Cotoure has a good chance against Silvia, mainly because Silvia hasn't done anything in the past 2 fights to impress me at all. Maybe he's just holding out, who knows. But honestly, I want Silvia to win, in hopes of an eventual Silvia vs. Cro Cop card. Man, that would be frickin sweet. In hindsight, this makes it seem like you're totally retarded. Couture would literally kill couture and cro cop at the same time
Theraflu 1,035
That Couture, taking on all-comers, including himself!

Theraflu 1,035
Not sure I've seen a more ridiculous knee than that.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
Yeah. That performance was ridiculous. Quite amazing. Seriously Matrix like. He seems to have some strong chin as well.
Theraflu 1,035
GSP returns! Actually splitting a PPV instead of just stealing a shitty stream of it.
GOCUBSGO 77
I've missed GSP. Unfortunately now Silva is taking an "extended break"
Ron_Mexico 4,219
I've missed GSP. Unfortunately now Silva is taking an "extended break" Negotiating ploy. He's not stupid. He wants GSP for the big payday, beats him because he's bigger, faster, stronger. Then, he takes the Jones fight for an ENORMOUS payday, and then rides off into the sunset. I don't think he's even remotely worried about anyone in his division. He destroys Bisbing and Boetsch. Weidman provides a challenge but may still be too green. I keep thinking not about how he looked against Munoz but how he looked against Maia. I get it was a short notice fight but he wasn't stellar.
AmScray 355
If anyone wants to get this thread going again, I'm in. I don't post on other forums but have been a pretty big UFC addict for some years now.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
Mighty Mouse Johnson, exciting, tactical fighter or a boring butterfly that bounces in and out without giving or taking damage? I say both
AmScray 355
I just cannot get into the midgets. They lost my interest below feather but its not small fighter bias- I do love Frankie and even Guida (although Guida is one fight away from losing fan status, if he puts on another fight like what you just described about MM) but there gets to be a point where they're so small, so fast and so non-powerful it's like watching a childrens pillow fight on 2X speed. I'm way more excited about Ellenburger/MacDonald. I think Hendricks is the future at WW but the whole jerkoff of MacDonald not fighting GSP causes problems so hopefully, Ellenberger will kick him down the contender ladder and make it a moot point. Not betting on that, though. Don't have any bets on this one but I betting medium-big on Davis/Machida @ 163. IMO, there is a metrick ****ton of value in Davis at almost 3-1 straight, or any number of juicy props.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
I enjoy Davis and think he has loads of talent, but I don't see him getting Machida down at all, and his stand up is his weakest facet. Machida will do Machida things and squeak out a decision. Ellenberger has been a beast lately and is talking crazy amounts of shit and doing it well. They had a conference call the other day and he was killing MacDonald. Rory will fight GSP if it comes to that. No doubt. I believe Hendricks will beat GSP in November. Can't get on board with Guida. I get why people love him, or used to, but his last shit show was god awful. Greg Jacksonesque. He's all frenetic energy and hair but rarely throws a finishing punch. Great chin though. Just a lay and pray guy. Now I'm just rambling. I'm a bit of an MMA nerd You watching that Bellator Fight Master show? Not bad fights to make the show
AmScray 355
I don't do Bellator since I don't have a TV and get all my MMA from the webz. Only have time for UFC since that's what I bet on. I did hear about King Mo retiring Petruzelli last month. Kind of a bummer. The guy who just couldn't win in the UFC. I think Machida is a favorite and I wouldn't take Davis straight against him but at Davis/Decision at nearly 4-1, I see value. Also see value in Danzig by Decision at basically 4-1. By no means a slam dunk but Guillard is a stupid fighter, I don't think Danzig has what it takes to overcome his athleticism standing but Guillard has no sub game, Danzig doesn't go out easily and he should be smart enough to point him to death or if he finishes, via sub at +280. *May* get neck deep in an underdog Okami, but have to watch more Souza fights to make that call. Ron_Mexico 4,219
Jacare is a beast
AmScray 355
Yeah but so is Lombard and Overeem; dominant in the little-leagues until they got their big-boy welcome in the UFC. We even saw how relatively 'less dominant' Cormier was against a gatekeeper level cat like Mir. Hard to appraise minor league talent until they get their first taste of a 95 mph cutter thrown at their face. Okami has never been subbed. If anyone's going to break that streak it's going to be Souza but Okami is one bad ass ************ and one helluva baptism of fire.
king_tanner 84
line must have changed a lot. I see Guillard at -120, I'm going to take it. I also think I'm going to take Ellenberger at +190. I'll also probably take Andrade at +400 just for a sweat, Carmouche was great in her fight against Rousey, but not good enough to warrant a -600 line for her imo.
AmScray 355
line must have changed a lot. I see Guillard at -120, I'm going to take it. He's around there if you want him straight up. I was talking about taking Danzig props, either Decision at around +400 or sub @ +280.

AmScray 355
Here are my positions on Ellenberger/MacDonald JE in R2 - $20 @ +1100 JE in R3 - $20 @ +2100 JE/Decision- $60 @ +560 RM IDT $100 @ +165 Well, that ate a huge dick. Wish they would've told the world that they planned on not fighting tonight. Fagggots. Both permanently placed in the 'hate' bin for tonights performance. I do not mind losing money, as I usually win more than I lose but I'll never, ever accept a fight like that.
AmScray 355
Don't have any bets on this one but I betting medium-big on Davis/Machida @ 163. IMO, there is a metrick ****ton of value in Davis at almost 3-1 straight, or any number of juicy props. This paid off in the thousands (plural) for me this evening. I had him $300 straight @ around +300 $400 by D at around +400. Very rarely do I bet that large but I felt that line was not efficient.
AmScray 355
The problem we have here is that since I've been posting consecutively for the past couple UFC events, people see me as the last poster and just assume there's no new information . Its getting lonely in here. Fags.
AmScray 355
I believe there may be value in John Howard v Hall @ +350 straight. Howard by D is approaching suckermoney levels at almost +750. Vuuuuury tempting.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
Howard is a tough fighter but ai feel Hall will out athlete him. Directv and FS1 came to an agreement, thankfully.
AmScray 355
Other than betting huge that Silva takes it back from Weidman, I don't see any upcoming fights that's going to cause me to lose my Phil Davis money so I'm playing small with the houses chips for a while. My bets for Fox1 $20 Each Rua R3 @ +750 R4 @ +1150 R5 @ +1750 by Splitter @ +1510 $120 Sonnnen by UD @ +180 So, I'm basically hedged even save for Rua winning in Rs 4,5 or by splitter. I sure hope Sonnen doesn't win a splitter. I should bet it anyway but I wanted to keep my exposire a but more buyoant and that was the hedge I got rid of. I will cry if he does. Let me reprahse: that I am NOT hedging Sonnen wrestle****s his way to a splitter guarantees thats how he will win. $20 Ea Howard R2 @ +1475 Howard R3 @ +2525 $50 Hall ITD @ -130 $20 on Cole Miller by D @ +383 $310 total exposure on the fight but a lot of wonky prop plays, so I doubt this will be a big day.
