finztotheleft 0
The sky appears to be falling. I don't know if there will be many fishies for Canadians to play soon (when the american online poker market dies off), so my move is on hold.
Allie 0
Sorry, I couldn't vote Erik. There was no "I already live in Canada and don't have to worry about this" option.

HangukMiguk 8
Just curious as to what you guys think.I've tried to be as rational about this as possible. I held out of withdrawing after the bill passed, I didn't go mental and say abandon ship when Party or Ongame or iPoker or Crypto bailed out. I even didn't freak when Firepay bailed. I figured there would always be an answer, and that the problems that would occur would be minor hiccups, but it in the end wouldn't be too much to handle. After dealing with Epassporte recently, and click2pay tonight, I've become convinced that online poker in the US is doomed. I'm currently figuring out which site to go through to cash out, and have been in contact with Indianapolis FCP'ers about where to play in Indianapolis. If I can't supplement my roll without going through the hassle of ripping into whatever incompetent tech support agent answers the phone, then it's time to abandon ship.I remained strong over the last 3 months. But today, yes Erik, I believe the e-sky is falling, and I don't intend on getting hit by the debris.

I've deposited, withdrawn, played, rakeback, etc. But, it's been quite some time.Since you've tried options like EPassporte and Click2Pay recently, it's your contention that there's no longer a safe, trusted, viable option to deposit and withdraw money into online poker sites? HangukMiguk 8
I think it's fairly obvious that I have never played much online, but, I'm pretty familiar with all aspects. I've deposited, withdrawn, played, rakeback, etc. But, it's been quite some time.Since you've tried options like EPassporte and Click2Pay recently, it's your contention that there's no longer a safe, trusted, viable option to deposit and withdraw money into online poker sites?I'll just give you my rundown of both since I've began this escapade:EPassporte: I began registering for EPassporte as a contingency plan when the word was said back in October that we had no 100% guarantee that Neteller would stay in the US market. I tried to verify my bank account by accepting two small fund transfers from them much like what Neteller and Paypal does to verify it. I never received said transfers, even though I had typed in my bank account information correctly. I talked with support about this, who then claimed that they did in fact go through correctly and that they wouldn't send it again. I then asked if I could unlink my bank account to attempt it again, and was told that was not possible. Basically, I *DO* have an EPassporte account. It's just completely useless, and so is their support.Click2Pay: I tried registering tonight. Upon attempting to register, I was given the following error: "Username invalid. Please enter a valid e-mail." It was valid. I called support who basically gave me the shakedown that it wasn't her problem, and to keep trying, and tried to brush me off the line with that. I demanded a supervisor, and she refused me one and hung up in my ear. I tried back an hour later, after trying the form again. I got a different answer: That their server cannot handle e-mail addresses with numbers in them, therefore I should try a different e-mail address (which is impossible, considering poker clients use your e-mail address to verify that it is you making the deposit/withdrawl to an e-wallet). Thus, if they can't even handle properly formatted e-mail addresses for registration, I DEFINITELY don't trust the security of the site.

qyayqi 11
do you have an odd e-mail address that may be breaking their javascript test? i run my own e-mail server and some sites barf out when i try to use the address. their tests make assumptions that can be entirely incorrect regarding the 'right' way to form an address.you could try signing up with another address. the man of 100 fcp names has GOT to have more than one e-mail address. (all those joke accounts are set up with trashmail accounts)I have 7 e-mail address that I use, but I use one primarily for poker accounts, so that might GMail filters don't go mental on me.my e-mail addresses in the username have the following characters:letters, numbers, and periodsthese, along with underscores, are all standard formats for usernames in e-mail addresses, and this shouldn't even be a problem. this is literally the only site i've ever tried to register for that would not accept my e-mail because of "bizarre characters in an e-mail address."if their security and programming department overlooked the use of even numbers in e-mail addresses, i certainly don't trust the security of my money on their site. bleacherbum3 9
I voted no, but I'm a little worried. What's wrong with just depositing/withdrawing directly with the poker site via cashier check?I've never done it, but I thought it was an option. Not as flexible, I'm sure.
