Wandigo 1
First and only time I played was on the way home from chicago. Hit a straight flush, made $250, got up after that hand and cashed out and broke even for my entire trip. Never played since.(sorry I'm no help in explaining the game)
CobaltBlue 662
Yeah, confuses the hell out of me. There are several times where I was looking to "call", but it forced me to "bet". Oh, and straights beat flushes. Learned that one the hard way.

CanuckJay 0
3 card is a simple game once you get the basics. No bluffing, no reading tells, no nothing. All you have to do is beat the dealer. The real money is made on the pair plus betting circle.no matter what the dealer has, if you have a pair or a higher ranking hand, you win automatically on the pair plusHere in Vancouver the payouts are as followsPair 1:1Flush 4:1Straight 5:13 of a kind 30:1straight flush 40:1if you beat the dealer, you also win on the ante, and your play.the dealer must have at least queen high to qualify as a playable hand. K high and better wins3 bets in total on all games, although you can just play the pair plus.hope that makes some sense..hard to tell without seeing it I guess.Definatly a fun game

benhoug 0
Let us know how its played when you figure things out.So as the name would indicate, you're dealt 3 cards. There is a blind bet, and a seen bet, the blind bet is half the seen bet. Basically you can keep betting blind, and once you look at your cards your bettin options are limited to bet or fold, there's no calling. If you continue blind, you can call. It seems to be a game of position, position, position. What has proven sucessful for me so far is to make the first raise blind in position, then if someone re-raises me, I'll look at my hand and re-evaluate. I'm still learning... CobaltBlue 662
What are the hand ranks? Are hands folded that often or is there generally a lot of calling down? It's play money, so most of the time, people don't seem to care that much. That said, at one of the full NL tables, I usually saw a pair of tens or better winning at showdown. For you other guys, as was noted above, this isn't a game played against the house. It's some kooky game played against other players. And there is bluffing involved.ben, yeah, seemed to me that position likely would play a big part.
Jerry_Lundegaard 0
Not sure what this ring game three card is...But a couple of weeks ago I delt "normal" casino style 3 card poker for a play money monte carlo night. Made me realize what a sucker game that is -- I just crushed people and overall made the house an incredible amount of fake money. So anyway, unless you got money to burn and dont give a ****, skip that game. Might as well play slots.
