DanielNegreanu 141
I guess that was easier than I thought. All of these players are against the players involved in the lawsuit. I bring this up, because in a radio interview Andy Bloch claimed that I was the only one opposed to it and everyone he talked to was supportive. Funny, because I haven't talked to anyone who supports this ridiculous and damaging lawsuit. It is so infuriating to me, that I'm not even sure I can look at these people without wanting to spit. There is a divide in the poker world due to this whether they want to admit it or not. I know that I'm on the right side. I look at the people on this list and see a group who really do care about poker's well being and they "get it." The other group's MAIN objective with this lawsuit is shameful- money. As Raymer what the primary goal is- they are looking to collect damages.

DB10-2 0
DN: I'm a fan; I once got your autograph at the Bike in L.A. I gotta ask: where has anybody said they're in it for the money? All the accounts I've read are that they say they're standing on "principle" and they care more about the poker than making anything off the suit.Keep in mind I haven't got even 1% of the "inside" knowledge you do about this situation. I don't talk to Barry Greenstein regularly, nor do I have Steve Lipscomb's cell number, etc. Frankly, I don't know definitively who's right and who's wrong on these issues. That's for the courts to decide or the parties to settle on their own. That said, I think you're starting to come off as way too over the top in your reaction to this suit. The things you're saying about these 7 players (even after Raymer's ridiculous comments about you, which were admittedly classless) are no good. You've always seemed to be a laid-back, easygoing, fairminded guy. Why go out on a limb so far like you've been doing? Wouldn't you rather see this played out the right way rather than through successive poker forum attacks and the media? With the exception of potential changes to how the WPT does business with casinos and players, how does the suit itself affect you? Are you worried about your side ventures? If so, explain that because I'd love to know what you see happening in specifics.I don't really have an opinion as to its timing or the potential effects it may have on the industry, but I do think you gotta take a deep breath and slow down, man.
