McGill, seriously Montreal rocks. and they have a great poli sci program
Do not discount this advice. Sure the winters are hell. But the legal drinking age is 18 (try Blanche de Chambly), the school is good, and the French girls are the best. Seriously. Look into this.

How is California, USC. UCLA or anyother school for that matter? Are the classes good? I want to actually learn a lot rather than party for 4 years but i still have a fair amount of party in me. How stimulating is the educational system out there i guess?
The top public universities in California (UCLA, Berkley) are almost more difficult to get into (if you're an out of state applicant) than Stanford or Harvard. I wouldn't even waste your time.

QFT, yep you got a good point, but my thought is if they overrun the jocky, preppy kids, then some will have to revert to banging me. Then again if i truly wanted girls in college i'd stay somewhere in florida
You want a nice california school with good academics, hot rich girls, and near to the beach and 5 casinos/card rooms.. UCSD or USD. USD is a private school with a very reputable political science program. UCSD is also a top notch school in La Jolla, known more for engineering/pre med. You can go wrong with either of these...

How did admissions to UF go? Where else did you apply and what was your GPA, ED, extracurricular etcJust want to see how hard it really is. Im almost 90% sure i'd get in early descion but only about 50-60% i'd get in regular unless i hear other. And im also realistic when it comes to college acceptance, i understand how many people are turned down everywhere

if you are in state at Florida you will def. get inmy ACT was a 29, SAT 1850 (1240 math and reading)i had a 94/100 GPA with many AP classesdid cross country, track, mathletes, and this cancer service club from 10th grade onyou probably will get in ED but for the other colleges u had on ur list (most rankes higher then UF, it would be close if u got it)I applied regular decision 1 to UF and im from NY. Its tougher to get in from out of state since 93 percent here is in state. But i got the acceptence in like february i think and i didint get into Maryland which is where i wanted to go over here so i came here and its really cool. Make sure though when u apply, they send u a housing application thing which u should send back as soon as u get it.Good luck and if u have any more questions send me a pm or im me bc ill probably forget to look @ this.

  • 1 month later...

I decided to do ED to University of Florida. I just finished my essay, my transcript has been sent, my contract signed, my recommendations sent and all I need to do is finish the rest of the online stuff by MondayI went up to UF this weekend and if was crazy kick-***. Everyother girl was exceptionally hot, I could relate to the people, the dorms were cool, the food was good and the football game was off the hook. Visitng was def. the right choice to make. If i didnt visit i probably wouldnt have done ED. I'm happy with my choice, now I just have to finish up my work and play the waiting game

If you like Asian girls, go to Cal.
actually UCI is better for thisnot as good of a school but still a top 10 public university in the nation. newport beach is close by. you can even find good fairly cheap places to live there 9 months out of the year (I did this for 2 years and was 40 feet from the sand). it is a commuter school mostly and people say irvine is boring but it is what you make it. out of state tuition might be expensive. no football team. school spirit fairly low. but profs there are pretty awesome and since many at irvine are slackers you can really get in well with them.edit: I realize he decided but maybe others are applying

good luck SDF. I'm applying early action to Stanford and it's a ****ing pain. If i don't get in there, I'm thinkin Pomona College or USC for its badass music department. To all seniors - keep it up.

One of my good friends plays Water Polo at Pomona, and he loves it there.

Narrow this down. Pick what size you would like best. Pick what setting (rural/urban) you would like best. Pick what type of student body you want to be with (liberal, hippie, trendy, etc). You looking to be with people that are down to earth or frat/sorority types? If you don't narrow it down you can't expect any good recommendations.Oh, and don't go to Vassar.
"I've had just about enough of your Vassar bashing young lady"cookie to who ever names it
