keith crime 8
I was playing a tournament at the RIO and went all in it was folded to the person who was second to my rightHe asks the person between us whether he was going to call, which started a huge spat with my telling him it was collusion and not to do it and him saying that he could say anything he wantedhe was so snotty about it that I called the floor manager who defended him by saying "he played there every day" and that he wasn't soliciting informationI asked "How else do you solicity information other than asking a question"Any opinions on this? It seems like it should be illegal even if you are not expecting the other person to answer

Stylin_Fish 0
I would have asked, "how did you get the job as floor manager because you obviously know nothing about poker."
socalpoker_j 1
I had a similar type of experience playing over at TI... the floor manager made a ruling where the hand went to the river, one player pushed in and the other called... the guy that pushed in had two pair and the one that called had made a straight on the river. When the regular went to turn his cards over... he tried to flip them into the center of the table where everyone could see... one of the cards hit the table at a weird angle and landed in the muck. The guy with two pair said that the pot should be awarded to him because his hand was dead (which I agreed with)... however the dealer called the manager over for a ruling and said that he saw both cards before one hit facedown in the muck.. the manager looked to see who was involved and gave some bs ruling in favor of the straight, because even though his cards hit the muck, they had been shown... strange. Acadiamonds 0
If the floor manager said that, then he's a moron. You were in the right.

dna4ever 2
I hate table talk period.I was at a freeroll bar league game last Monday and flopped a open ended straight draw and flush draw, bet the flop, turn, and took a big stab at the river, guy called and I had to show my 'bluff'Like 2 hands later I picked up pocket TJs and limped. Flop AA3. I make a feeler bet and the guy is about to fold when another player goes "you saw him just try to buy the last pot, you gonna let him do it again?" Guy goes "thats true" and calls with pocket 8s which end up holding. I was like WTF man, how uncool is that.Since it was a freeroll 'fun game' with no floor there wasnt alot I could do, but bust the guy that said that which made me feel alot better

I would have asked for the tournament director and pushed for the correct decision. The player who asked that should have been penalized.

It's usually written in the posted rules.A new rule that I saw in Vegas that I've now proposed at Hustler for them to implement is the "only someone who called the last bet may ask to see someones cards." I really like this rule. Some guy who folded pre-flop should not be able to say, "ALL CARDS DEALER."
