deep into the super tuesday last night i was sitting with around 50k in chips and the blinds were 600/1200 there was 130 players left and the top 100 finished in the money. I was utg with 7 2 off and i made it 4000. This was a new table so i didnt have much info on other players but a player in middle position pushed all-in for 37k. It was folded to me and i thought for awhile that even though he could have KK or possibly aces he could also have ak aq, aqs , jacks, and maybe even 10's. I ended up calling and he had 9 3 and i was left crippled with around 10k and ended up finished 116 out of the money. It was so disappointing because i worked so hard for 3 straight hours building that stack just playing great poker and I get stuck in a situation like that. Everyones thoughts will be appreciated. THanks

Gotta be a joke.I vote joke.Although a joke usually needs a punchline.
Well being that it is a complete repost of MuckNuts QQ topic a few topics down, I will say obvious joke. And a RKIGS one at that.

I was BB in one tourney, got 72o. Coupla limpers, I check. Flop comes 772. Another 2 on the turn, river was a blank. All the while, I got action. Busted a guy, crippled another. True story. I'm sure everyone has their 72o story, though, so I don't feel very special.

Don't want to start a string of controversy, but, sometimes you just gotta fold 7-2 pre-flop, especially to a raise and re-raise, especially early in the tourny.I know, it's a Hellmuthian laydown, but, it can save you money in the long run.

This is another classic case of Canadianhatism. An American opens up a joke account and calls himself Canadian and makes an RKIGS thread.WHY DO YOU GUYS HATE US SO MUCH?!!

NOBODY has a better 7 deuce off story than JayBoogie. You should ask him about it next time you see him. Hilarious. He knocked DN out of the neg-o for a $250 bounty with it. But there is so much more to the story. I still tell it in my home game to this day. That is why at my games the 7-2 off is forever known as "boogienights"
