livestrong 0
I was just wondering what everyone thought of Full Tilt. I have been playing there and see a lot of action hands. Seems like its always pocket pair against pocket pair or set vs set. It seems like its more frequent then on any other site. I was just wondering what other people thought on this site. Maybe it is just my imagination. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks in advance.

thrillsoft 0
I was getting creamed at Stars this weekend. Every time I called a guy's all-in I had him dominated (AA vs. KK or AK vs. AQ) and lost every one. Like 17 in a row!So I made a deposit at Full Tilt (haven't played there in a long time) to see if my luck would change. First hand:$.50/$1 NLHEHero in the BB w/ 7 7 UTG raises to $3.50, MP1 calls, SB folds, Hero Calls.Flop ($11):J 7 3 UTG checks, MP1 Bets $7, Hero raises to $21, UTG folds, MP1 raises $97 All-in, Hero calls (all-in)Turn:6 River: 3 MP1 shows J J (3 of a kind Jacks)That's the story of my weekend and my first hand at Full Tilt in over 6 months. teddyKGB 0
the Internet is rigged...Aside from sarcasm I play on Fulltilt exclusevely and I never notice what you are talking about. You have to remember that when you are playing online you see about 4 times as many hands an hour than you do live, so some uncommon occurences might become a little more frequent, and in my case where I play 4 tables at a time, those uncommon happenings almost seem like day to day occurences. Noone is trying to set anyone up by creating ridiculous suckouts... it is a joke to suggest that one site has more ridiculous things happen then another.
thrillsoft 0
That happens, sometimes.wouldn't be complaining so much if he had 3-3, now would ya? It wasn't just Full Tilt. That just happened to be the first hand I played at Full Tilt in 6 months. It followed an entire weekend of the same crap happening at Stars. Not a bad beat. At no point in that hand was I ever ahead. Just got cold-decked. Ran into the cooler when all the money went in. This whole weekend was:1. Put my money in with the by far the best of it ---> Get sucked out on.2. Put my money in with a monster draw ---> miss completely.3. Put my money in with 2nd nuts, run into the cooler. Its not just online. I played live this weekend as well and went all in for $430 into a $290 pot with top two pair (KQ) against this luckbox that was sucking out EVERY hand against the whole table. He goes into the tank for several minutes. The whole table is talking out loud "He's got a set." "He's got 2 pair" "No he's got a set". I know I've got him. If he had me beat, he'd have called in a second. Finally, luckbox calls with AQ one card to come. River = Ace for a $1150 pot.I don't believe in sky fairies. My GF is from India and believes the stars control every aspect of everyone's life. I mock her for it constantly. However, after losing more than 2K this weekend almost always putting my money in as a 3:1 favorite and getting sucked out on every time, I actually asked my GF what the **** the stars had against me this weekend. It was sick!
JCans23 0
I played at Stars for about two years and I've never been more frustrated by bad beats, donkey players, etc.Deposited in Tilt and have been playing there for about a year and a half and my profits have increased significantly...I love their tourney structures (best I've seen) and the ring games are very reasonable. Play Tilt

livestrong 0
Alright, alright......I thought meh, you guys have to be right. So I made a modest deposit. Playing in a little STT. Here is what I see in the first 20 hands. Maybe I am just paranoid, but it is what it is.2nd hand of the tourney (not me):QQ vs AA3rd hand of the tourney (I won):AJ vs 77flop A 3 7turn JLast hand of the tourney for me (all in preflop)AA vs KKThis is the stuff I see on there quite a bit, it just seems there are a lot more action hands. doublenikels 0
I've been playing poker for a while and have played a lot more live than online, although I do play online quite a bit as well. As for the beats I have seen... I have come to the conclusion that yes, in fact, real life is rigged. I cannot tell you how many times I have had kings run into aces... flop the nut flush against a pair only to come runner runner boat... you name the beat and I have seen it... all live. So when I hear that the internet is rigged I kinda get a chuckle because the people that say that have not usually put in 40 or more hours a week at the casino.
grocery_mony 8
Finally broke down and deposited on Tilt a week ago. Big change coming from playing exclusively on stars. I only deposited on tilt because they offer HORSE tourneys and sit and gos. The structures arent as good on tilt because of 6min rounds as compared to10 on stars and 10mins on mtt's as compared to 15 on stars. However if you have played on stars for awhile the mtts in NL holdem on tilt are full of players with no clue. Calling all in early in tourneys with A10 is common place here. Calling big bets on river with second pair, calling big bets with four to a flush on board with only top pair wow this is a mtt paradice. Mind you I have only played 5 and 10 dollar tourneys hoewever I find the competition in 3 dollar tourneys on stars way tougher. Iguess flashy graphics and a long list of pro endorsers is a good forfula for attracting new fish. If I had to choose to play only one sit it would have to be stars though.
