  1. I think that is the true test of the game. It is not for some people. I have a friend that is one of the best players I know and he used to play for a living... now for about 2 years he cannot dodge a 3 outer.
  2. Easy to figure out. Find out the club rules. Some are money in the pot and some are verbal as far as calling bets. I have only heard of 2 situations at legitimate card rooms where a call is binding. It is either saying 'call' or putting chips in the pot. Last time I was playing NL at a casino on the strip a guy even said 'call' and then asked what the bet was again and then folded. I was a little pissed because I told the dealer he called and the dealer did nothing about it because no chips had passed the line.
  3. If you have played enough live poker you would of had to hear many times "wow, we just had that exact same flop".
  4. I've been playing poker for a while and have played a lot more live than online, although I do play online quite a bit as well. As for the beats I have seen... I have come to the conclusion that yes, in fact, real life is rigged. I cannot tell you how many times I have had kings run into aces... flop the nut flush against a pair only to come runner runner boat... you name the beat and I have seen it... all live. So when I hear that the internet is rigged I kinda get a chuckle because the people that say that have not usually put in 40 or more hours a week at the casino.
  5. I am a big giamatti fan, but during the series I always thought Black sounded like Curry. Curry is british so the voice is not exact, but close.
  6. I always thought Tim Curry would be a good Andy Black.
