and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

Trying to decide if I can pass a king suite for an extra $10/night through my expense report without expense report lady (boss mans wife) making a fuss and making me come out of pocket. Which. Is probably worth it tbh.

Edit: you know what, I did it! Living life man!

arrogance, lol. I definitely wasn't trying to be arrogant in blanking on my own number trying to confirm an interview.

I'm just not capable of being Mr. Official Office Dude. If this place can look at my résumé, see the results of two phone interviews and one in-person interview, and think that blanking on a number is enough to cancel on me, well, okay. good luck to them. processing jobs like that one are a dime a dozen. well, $36k/per, I guess.

My bad.

Did I mention my girlfriend

Oh, she's that now? Congrats! Your excruciatingly long-term plan of wearing her down seems to be working.

Please stop using the phrase girlfriend. Unless we're using it in the 1940's context where a girl lives across the street and the families are close and it's an arranged, in the future thing.

Because she's not really his girlfriend, or because you're, like, so over that kind of label?

BC wants to go on "vacation" with me to Phoenix. I'm not being unreasonable when I told her "I think we should talk about a few things beforehand" when she asked if I even wanted her to go, right?

Not unreasonable in general, although I'm obviously behind on the relationship (if we can call it that, which seems unlikely) stories.

Well, there was this time:

This time too.

Heh.

I work with a guy whose fake laugh (usually on the phone) is "heh heh heh". It's fantastic.

Speed. You used to live in Phoenix right? Anything I should do while there? Any good breakfast places?

Lolo's Chicken & Waffles. Although if you go alone to the one in Phoenix you might get shot. If you'll have a car and the inclination to explore I can give you plenty of recommendations in Scottsdale, but I didn't spend much time in Phoenix.

I have a car and am staying in Old Town.

BC just sent me a text saying I gave her the best gift a guy could give a girl by letting her use my hbogo account so she could watch girls and that she'll love me forever. I asked for nudes as partial thank you. Let's see if it pays off!

This is absolutely the first thing that came to my mind as soon as I read the word Ruckus.

"I brings the ruckus to the ladies."

curb is better than seinfeld.

Because she's hardly a gf. At least not to him.

That's reasonable. Another QUOTE UNQUOTE relationship that I don't know much about these days. Sounds like she may be a real b-hole that comes and goes as she pleases?

Nice. There's a Lolo's in Scottsdale, I recommend it. U.S. Egg is also solid for more standard diner food. Roaring Fork makes a good drink and their happy hour menu has a great pork green chili. There are a ton of really good options for Mexican and whateverelse restaurants around Old Town and in other spots. I used to live next to the Kierland outdoor mall, which is a good place to go watch rich people buy expensive things. If you go to the Westin Kierland hotel at sundown you can go straight through the lobby to the back, where a bagpiper plays a few tunes at the edge of their (beautiful) golf course while people sit around a (gas) firepit.

I also highly recommend going to the strip clubs down there, the ASU girls may not be the brightest, but they're the dumbest. Camelback Mountain is a fun hike if you want to see girls in good shape with their clothes on for some reason.

Edit: Also, casinos. AND IN & OUT!!!

Mostly because there's been no coming by either party.

How is Seinfeld anything g like IASIP?

This:

they're both shows that celebrate horrible, horrible people.

Gender ratio is fairly similar in both. (Though the addition of Frank throws it off a bit.) They both primarily take place in a large city and are generally set in a common area (Jerry's apartment/the bar) though they go outside of that some. They tend to be really self-centered people. Most plots revolve around some sort of scheme or hot-button issue. They tend to push the sitcom limits...though obviously Sunny goes way further than Seinfeld did. They tend to have kind of zany side characters that recur a bit. The main characters are prone to yell over each other in the chaos.

I consider Sunny the superior show, but I just think Sunny actually might be more the heir of Seinfeld than Curb is.

Probably the forgetting his number thing.

She texted me this morning "wouldn't that be a little like prostituion? :-)" I said everything in life is a little like prostituion but if it makes you feel better no, because there was no prior agreement. So go ahead and send them.
