Game ended at: 2016/7/21 2:28:57 ...why are you making it what looks like 20 pre-flop OOP when he makes it 8? You should be making it at least 28...if not 32+. Flop bet's okay, I guess...but I really think something smaller or bigger is better given the texture and your hand. I'd either bet like 12 into the 40 (to induce a playback-raise/float) or like 28-30 hoping he has the ace or just decides to float anyway. I mean, I'd basically never do it, but even a check/raise could work. When he raises the flop small like that, you really should just go ahead and 3-bet. He's generally either got a draw or a hand that he's value raising and unlikely to fold. When you call, I guess c/c is okay given that turn. Not sure I'd donk the river much...like he has a flush or lower FH, and you have him beat, and he'll nearly always value-bet, or he has you crushed with aces-full...in which case, are you folding the river if he raises? I'm superstitious when it comes to gambling. The past few times I've went when I had 2/3 tails I've won and the one time I didn't listen I lost money. I always get $300 in checks, twenty white...rest red, and then keep 80 back to top off while I feel out the table. I like the whites to shuffle and to make my bets odd amounts but that's more about thinking it makes people respect my raises more. And then I always sort the red chips for horse/non-horse and then I evenly split the horsey chips at the bottom of my red stacks so I hopefully never come across them because I don't like them.
