Bill_Brasky 0
If I have to deal with all the losers and low lifes that frequent the casino I at least want to do it with real poker chips and cards. I'm just old school like that.
gvsuman 0
I like having chips and cards, its just better for some reason.Yeah, I totally agree. I like to have the cards and chips. The only advantage is that you play more hands and don't have to tip the dealer with every pot raked. Not quite worth it in my opinion either. Probably don't have to worry about seeing it for a while...has not been approved by the NGB.

blackntan06 0
i would rather use real poker chips and cards. i do care for playing online really anyways. maybe im just old school poker player. does anyone this mite hurt the game in anyway?
jdyzf88 0
I tried these out while at the Hard Rock in Florida, played a SNG. You actually get "dealt" two face down cards and tap at the corner of them, they then curl over so you can see the edges of the "cards". Cool concept, but i am a dork and like to chip-shuffle :-)
PA32R 0
I have to say it looks awful. I can see the benefits: more hands per hour; no mistakes; no toking the dealer, but it looks sterile. I'd have to bring my own chips to riffle... how can you possibly play in a b&m casino without riffling chips?Really, it's like mating a man with a horse and getting a creature with the speed of a man and the intelligence of a horse. You have the sterility of playing on a monitor without the ability to surf the web, watch tv, play in your underwear and without the tactile benefit of looking at your cards, riffling your chips, etc.All that said, I'll give it a try if it comes to the Commerce or Bicycle or Hawaiian Gardens. I'll probably try California Hold'em too.Do I get sued for not putting a "tm" symbol by California Hold'em?

Vatche 0
there were talks about having these kinds of tables in live casinos...hope it dosent happen.
CrackofmyACE 1
Foxwoods is opening up their new poker room in a couple of weeks downstairs from the old one, and according to one of their dealers who I spoke to last week... there will be 2 of these crazy contraptions for our enjoyment..personally, im all setbut who knows... it could be a hit
suitedinc 0
I can hear it now...."The table is rigged!!". It will happen. I know the article says that the "shuufle" is different, but try to explain that to someone who just received a beating on a 2 outer on the river and is now bust. It is hard to argue it if the cards are live and the shuffle is real.Keep the dealer!! I want live cards. $1 everytime I win a hand is not that bad.
MOMOwheeler 0
Advantages Quicker and more accurate than a human dealer Cards cannot be marked or bent No tipping the dealer Chips can not be lost or stolenDisadvantages Its not a real deck; therefore A LOT of people will complain about it possibly being rigged (we see this now with online). There is no dealer to handle immediate disputes (ie: a verbal commitment) You lose the chance to pick up on "chip fumbling" tellsVerdict - I doubt we'll ever see the extinction of real cards and chips @ B&M... but the CPU table will be successful enough to warrant having them as an option. wilheldp 0
I saw a bunch of electronic roulette tables when I was in Vegas two weeks ago. I think the casinos are just getting greedy now...they made the highest house edge table game in the casino faster.
