Mehhh, just got donked on by someone who can't lay down AA9x on a King high, suited board (he didn't have any possible flushes), got screwed when he made his house on the river.. against my flopped nut flush

Wow. Just got done with a rollercoaster ride of a night playing PLO8. I'm pulling up my session browser right now so I can give you the breakdown...I started out playing at about 10:30, and after a short session of playing well and catching a few breaks (opponents having dead draws/weaker hands to pay me off) I logged a net win of about $46, not counting my original $25 max buyin. Seeing that the table was running dry, I decided to pick up and move tables, that way 1- I protect my win $, and 2- I can move myself to a fresher table with more money. So I picked up, moved to the only other game going at that point, and sat down with the $25 max buy at around 12:15. Didn't see any hands early, and continued to play solid, building up to around $40 or $50 at one point. I hit a downswing that brought me back to even, and from there on I played absolutely terribly. I mean, really, really bad. I don't know what got into me, but I came back and was completely unfocused, and kind of splashing around, gradually giving my money away. Then I got scooped in a big pot, and that's where the wheels came off. For some reason, I'm much more prone to tilt online then I am live, and it reared it's ugly head tonight. I managed to blow off all my money, except for about $4. So, here I was, sitting with $4 at a $25 max table, with the average stack being about $20. Great. I sat out for a minute, grabbed a drink, and re-focused. From then on I played very well. I was patient and played solid starting hands, looking to scoop as many pots as possible to get me back to even. I had about $10 when the following hand came up. I'll give you the run down and spare you from reading the HH.I'm UTG and find A2T5 dbl suited. I limp, planning on coming over the top if raised. There was a lot of min raising going on, and almost every time someone minraised, it was a weaker hand then mine. I looked up some of the HH's and saw the hands people were raising with, and it was basically any ace, or any pair. I mean, these people really didn't knwo what they were raising with, and were basically playing ring game O8 as if it were short handed NL holdem. 2 limpers behind, and the button raises. The button had less money then me, and from what I had seen, had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Now, here's where it gets crazy. The SB re-raises to $6. Right now I'm thinking the SB is the only one with a real hand, even if it's weaker then mine. I know my hand isnt the nuts by any means, but this table was really bad at this point, with basically all of the solid players gone. The SB had shown down a few hands, and they usually were trash. I honestly thought that the SB had KKxx and that I would have a lot of good draws to either chop, or scoop altogether. I know, this is probably warped thinking, but remember, I'm also semi-tilting at this point. I decide to go with it, and push my remaining $10 and change in. This prompts one of the limpers, and the original raiser to call, since there is now so much money in the pot. Then I caught a good board, Ks 7s Kh 8s 9d. I was pretty scared as the cards were being shown, but realized I had the best hand and no one caught a boat. I scooped, bringing me back to even. I wound up playing well from there on out and netted a small win for the night.Now. Here's the best part. The hands these people went so crazy with. Ready for this?Original raiser (button): 10c 9h 6c 6h Re-raiser (SB): 4d 6s 3d 9sMP Limp/Caller: Qc Ac Kh Jc They're all amazing, but the one I really don't understand at all is the re-raiser/SB. I dont know what could've been going through his head on that one.So yeah, in conclusion, did I get really lucky? Yeah. Was it as bad as you, I, or many other people may think after seeing the hands? No.

----I got curious and ran some simulations on that hand. Preflop heres how it broke down:T966- 4.74% to scoop, 21.54% to win the high, 0% for low4639- 12.94% to scoop, 22.75% for high, 24.45% for lowAKQJ- 17.72% to scoop, 32.06% for high, 0% for lowA2T5- 15.49% to scoop, 20.43% for high, 39.68% for lowSo, as you can see by these pre-flop numbers, I was a dog to scoop or win hi, but an decent favorite for low. My only shot at the high was spades, which I knew, but figured that at this point there was so much in there, and I had so little, that it was worth the gamble to see if I even could chop. Obviously, that's not a call I make EVER if I have a normal sized stack, but with the amount of money I had, and the amount in the pot at that time, looking at the numbers, if I wanted to gamble, it wasn't the worst time to stick my money in.---This marks one of the first times that playing online poker has actually worn me out. Time for bed ya'll. Discuss/make fun of/flame that hand history if you'd like, but it worked out for me this time, even if I had to get lucky, and that's really all that matters. Like I said, not a play I make hardly ever, but in this situation I just decided to go with it.

I must admit, was fun watching the cdubb roller coaster last night. I am just happy he came out in the black. A couple timely folds and it would have been a real nice session. Look forward to next time.OEJdereekkkkkkk waddup

just had a crappy back and forth evening...won another home game tourney for $120, coming back from another severe short stack (i'm starting to make a habit of this)...then proceeded to drop $100 back in a cash game...the suckouts were astronomical...remind me not to rebuy when i'm on advanced levels of tilt...the final kick to my balls came when my AA lost to 72 just because they guy thought he'd call my last $6 "just to see what happens" (flop comes 6 4 A, he caught runner-runner 3 5 for the straight...just not my night)i'm going to bed now

Sup peoplesFigured I'd drop in early. I'm gonna eat some pasta and meat sauce at 9am. God I love summer. Home game tourney in bout 3 hours. The structure is faster than normal which basically means that we're just getting rid of the 1/2 2/4 3/6 levels but its unlimited rebuys for the first 2 hours and for every dollar you buy in for you get 200 chips. I'm still trying to think of what my strat should be. Should I buy in for $1 and go all in every hand or buy in for 10-20 and try and play good. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet. I guess I'll have to see what everybody else is doing and just adjust.
