It would seem you would have just as many or more maniacs calling with BS and catching lucky. I see it all the time at the 5-10 Omaha game I deal.Well, I'm speaking mainly my .50/1 1/2 online experience, but those idiots in LHE who fire like mad PF with AA like to play omaha, and don't like to take an "early out" on a 567(2 flush) board with their AA97 unsuited. That alone makes it all worthwhile. Also, there is a scarcity of lagtards and maniacs at these limits, and post flop play is incredibly passive. A238 is often good for one bet to take down the pot on a KJ9 flop. Players don't half the pot to calculate their odds and they will chase the ugliest of the QQ3 flops with their A2. Don't get me wrong, it's correct to chase *multiple* backdoor NUT draws for a bet if the pot is big and you are closing (or essentially closing) the action.There are far less sheriffs in my experience, because most players simply believe somone has flopped the nuts. I pick up so much dead money on CO/CO+1 blind steals and flop CB bets on high boards that when I am "flipping coins" and/or splitting pots, I'm playing with stolen money to begin with. Seriously, I don't see how people can lose money at this game. It's darn hard to get deep into a hand without having at least 1/2 the pot on lock.We have one guy at that game, he raises 99% of the time pre-flop, sees almost every river and usually wins with the most bizarre crap you've ever seen. He makes 94osXX look like suited AKAK. Now his swings are wild. He'll go way down and borrow from the house but before the night is over he's off the books and banked $500-$1000.Hug this guy the next time you see him. He makes the game worth playing.
